There's a show on Sci-Fi called "First Wave." I've been a big fan of this show since season 1. Well last year they decided to pull the plug on this show. They showed the finallie and then they didn't repeat it.

Needless to say I forgot to tape it.

2002 they rerun it during the day. Well I've been waiting and waiting for the finallie. It came... YESTERDAY!

Another Waver! We do still exist. :D The numbers in my name are from First Wave. Here's a summary of the episode.

It opened with a shot of Wilsonville Psychiatric Hospital, which is cool since that's how the pilot opened. A doctor and nurse are walking down a hall, talking about some people were brainwashed into believing they were hunting aliens. They're talking about Cade, Eddie, Jordan, and Joshua. In reality, they're in a Gua building. As they walk around, they slip into and out of hallucinations of this hospital. (In one hallucination, Jordan commits suicide. In another, Eddie is raving that he found Thor's Hammer, which is a regular old hammer.)

After a while, they walk into this one room. On the wall is dozens of husks. The camera pans up, and there are husks as far as the eye can see.

The last ten minutes, they're in a small room with Mabus. Mabus has an orb about the size of a bowling ball. It holds the consciousnesses of some obsene number of Gua Acolytes. Mabus starts saying that Cade is really a Gua, and it was all an experiment. There's a shot of Cade in a uniform saluting with Gua flags everywhere. Incidentally, it was the last scene ever filmed for the show. At some point, Jordan, Eddie, and Joshua were shot in the chest by Cade under Mabus' control. Cade and Mabus fight. Mabus is destroyed. The bowling ball is destroyed by Thor's Hammer. Jordan, Eddie, and Joshua are healed. Everyone's in shock.

The very last three minutes. Hannah is standing on a porch. Cade, in a suit and tie, walks up to her and says Good-bye. Then, he walks away. Cut to Eddie, Joshua, and Jordan hanging around the Caddy wondering when Cade'll come back. He does. He used Thor's Hammer to go back in time. Then, they all get into the Caddy and drive off into the sunset. Credits roll.

I'll check that group out for sure. I was rather angry when this show went off the air.

I felt Sci Fi killed it. First they put it on Saturday night, then Monday night. When Monday Night was dominated by wrestling. THen back to Saturday night. Instead of giving it a real time slot like it had before all of the other crap shows that are no longer on the air. I'm talking about the Invisible Man and Jewels Vern crap.
