Latest Ch.9 Update regarding "Speedy"

Great News fellas, I just got off the phone with Ch.9 news producer Kim Lowe and I will be interviewed this coming Monday 4/15/02 at 11am for the story of Speedy's bannishment from Cartoon Network.She wants to ask questions not just about Speedy but also my opinion on the June Bugs fiasco from last year.Miss Lowe asked me if I can show her some of my collection from videos, dolls, drinking glasses and animation books, so you guys might get to see a tour of my house.

She also want's my take of the future of the classic theatrcial cartoon short, that it starting to disapear as of this very moment.Miss lowe knows that I'm a member of Toon Forums and I do plan on promoting this excellent web-site "BIG TIME" for the interview...

The interview is scheduled to air on April.25, 2002 at 10pm

It will air locally on New York/New Jersey station Ch.9. but I think that you can get Ch.9 anywhere upstate or on a satellite dish.I do have some trades coming up so if anybody wants to see the interview let me know and I will add it the videos. :)

Be sure to mention about the new "Baby Looney Tunes" series and how horrible it will be...and maybe even mention "Duck Dodgers" and how cool that will be. Oh and don't forget to mention Toon Zone and Jon's page!

That would be a good idea. Especially considering a lot of the 60s Speedy cartoons aren't even available on video.

By all means provide it, but the station would probably have to get permission from the copyright holder in order to broadcast any copyrighted material. Good luck to you.
