IGN just updated their Gamecube FAQ. Go here:

http://cube.ign.com/news/23749.html

Now, those cheeky monkeys are fond of hiding hints and announcements in these faqs to get people to read them. One of these announcements is that, in addition to Kemco's Batman: Dark Tomorrow, Ubi Soft will also give the Gamecube Batman Vengeance. All they gave was the name of the game, so most likely it'll be a direct port of the PS2 version. Still, with ports there's always the possibility (however small) of advanced graphics, additional features, new levels, etc.

And if DG doesn't mind me going a bit O/T, the faq also hints at Gamecube versions of Ninja Gaiden, Crash Bandicoot, and Sonic the hedgehog.

Cool.

I agree. I was really looking forward to a Gamecube, but i really wanted Batman Vengeance. Now it looks like i can have both.

Awesome! Now I have less of a reason to buy a Ps2 (ff10 and mgs2 are the only reasons right now)

Wait are we talking about a new Sonic, or a port of SA2. Last time I heard SA2 was an exclusive.

There isn't any real information on Sonic, other than Sonic Team really, really digs the Gamecube hardware (they said they ported over Phantasy Star Online Version 2 in less than a month) and would most likely do what they do best. Sonic on Nintendo would sell like mad. Anyway, there's some that believe that it'll be a port of SA2, or, more likely, it'll be an entirely new game further down the pipeline. But it's all speculation at this point.
