I work in a upscale grocery store in Hollywood, which if frequented by people in the motion picture industry. Tonight I saw Wes Bently. Wes played Ricky Fitz in American Beauty and has been rumored to be up for the part of Bruce Wayne in Aronofsky's Batman Year One.
It was the third time I'd seen him in there, but the first time in a good while. He seemed cool and mellow. So I just asked him-
Me- So, are you really going to play Batman in Year One, or is that just a rumor?
Wes- *Laughs*... I want to.
Me- I hope you get it. You were really good in American Beauty.
Wes- Thanks.
-And that was it.
So, he "WANTS TO" anyway.
