As some of you know, I know a lot about Ed, Edd n Eddy. Many things from insider jokes from a.k.a. hidden in the show to what you see on TV.
Here are a few things for a start:
This is a little "hidden spotting":
:) 1. In the Season 3 episode, "Dueling Eds," you'll notice a poster that says, "Eddy Wants YOU!" (I wish!). The first time you see it, when Double D holds up the log for Ed (he says, "Shall we try it one more time?"), the poster shows Eddy pointing ahead. After a while, you'll see the poster again, when Double D runs for joy, holding the log (now in two), the poster will show Eddy giving a thumbs-up. It's the same poster because it's on the same side as the first time shown, and there were no other "Eddy Wants YOU!" posters on the other walls.
This is the exact description of the first Eds' premiere (you can't get any closer than this):
:) 2. Ed, Edd n Eddy first premiered on Cartoon Network on January 4, 1999 at 8 p.m. EST. The very first episodes to premiere were "The Edtouchables/Nagged To Ed" (unlike CN's episode order with "Pop Goes The Ed/Over Your Ed" as first - the KAnkers were in "Over Your Ed," and the Eds had to meet the Kankers first, which was in "Nagged To Ed") with about 7 commercials in their first commercial break (may depend on local ads; for me, it was 7 commercials) and a month of Cartoon Network telling about it. Unlike some other beginning Cartoon Cartoons, Ed, Edd n Eddy were the first of the Cartoon Cartoons to air for the first time without a "What A Cartoon!" short. Later on, on March 4, 1999, Ed, Edd n Eddy appeared in the UK and other countries (probably with the same story as the US).
This was from my memory - I didn't know how to tape things on TV then.
