It's been confirmed that JUSTICE LEAGUE will air at 7pm (ET) on Saturday, November 21st! That schedule, though , will not be the actual slot. The show will premiere as a movie on Cartoon Theatre before getting to it's undiscolsed and unknown timeslot. Again, check out the newspage for JL news as it happens!

It's set to premiere on SATURDAY, but that won't be it's actual timeslot. The timeslot will be some other time in the week, or possibly earlier in the same day. The 90 minute "movie" will air then.

Because some of us (though we love BTAS, etc.) still prefer to buy books even before we buy food. :D

Isn't that have something to do with Direct TV? I don't want to jack around with Direct TV, or any kind of satellite dish. I live in an apartment, and to have one would be too hard.

Actually, TIVO will be a bad memory before long. I just read an article about the new DVD recorders coming out by years end, and they will beable to do all that TIVO does and more. My main beef with TIVO is that you cannot switch out the discs once you are done, you have to keep using the same recording disc over and over again, and if you want to save your programs, you then record them on to VHS tape. Forget that crap. I want a digital recorder that makes it possible for me to get rid of my VCR once and for all!
Of course, the DVD recorders rolling out will be $1500-$3000, but that's not bad considering that's how much DVD players were when they were first introduced, and their prices dropped like a rock. It won't be long before you can pick up a DVD recorder for a much more manageable price, and then TIVO will be as good as dead.

Buy Christmas 2002, Recordable DVDs will down to around $200 - 300, which will be great, becuase that is when I plan to replace my current DVD player. I plan to upgrade everye few years, and a Recordable DVD player is going to be a great boast. I doubt we'll be able ot have the 3 speeds, but still - the digital picture...*drools*. Now, back onto JL. The show wil likely be repeated later the same week, so you'll be able to catch it in no time at all. Plus, WB will likely release the 90 minute "movie" on DVD anyways, so I ain't worried about missin' anything.

A TiVo isn't meant for permanent archiving, its meant for simplifying viewing, its really not direct competition for DVD recorders.
Also, DVD recorders will never be able to do serious time shifting. Depending on what format you choose, recordable DVDs top at like 4GB, TiVo already has a 60gb out and is planning a TiVo with 160gb (2 80gb drives). Then, at my conveniance I just copy whatever shows I want to save permanently over to VHS or DVD.

I'd be happy with a two hour recordable disc, I think. And TiVo is a good idea, and maybe it'll be altered someday so they can also be saved to disc as well. I know this show, JUSTICE LEAGUE, will definatly be a show worth taping and keeping. Then again, it is almost certain CN will release eps to DVD anyways.
