This time it's not an error :p
In the entire screen carrer of Comedian/Voice Artist BILLY BLETCHER, who would you say is his best voice character he's ever done?
Cartman

I voted for Henry Bear. I like how he always gets ticked off by things. The three bears are one of the best dysfunctional families in the entertainment industry.

Pete! Pete! Pete! The only villain Mickey Mouse would ever need, and Bletcher made it so. What more need be said?

My favortie Bletcher voice character would go to a one-shot villian that fans know who he is....THE PINCUSHION MAN from the "Cult" Classic "Balloonland"(1935)Bletcher give a excellent perfomance to this evil villian, a character who is a Safety Pin who wears a pinchusion for paints and wears a thimble for a hat.Bletcher gives a great depth to this character by giving him a nasty personality especailly when he gets let in to Ballooland can causes hell my poping every single humanzied balloon that get's in his way!Simply love the villian and this cartoon.

I was thinking about voting for Pincushion Man, but after it was confirmed that he appeared in only one cartoon, my vote went to someone else.

I've always been a fan of Peg Leg Pete's voice...:D
Fun Fact: Billy Bletcher also did the voice of Porky's walrus boss in "Porky's Tire Trouble".

Hey, Nelson, can I vote for an alternate Big Bad Wolf -- the Belcher-voiced one from Freleng's "Little Red Riding Rabbit."
Disney's original would have been way better if he had allowed his wolf to sing "Put On Your Old Gray Bonnet," just like Friz did. ;)

My favorite Bletcher moment is from the Our Gang comedy "Divot Diggers" where he's one of the four golfers whose caddies are Spanky and co. (Bletcher was in a bunch of Hal Roach shorts). He's about to tee off and the chimp distracts him. It's a little weird to see Bletcher live here, as he was quite a diminutive man in person. You'd think he was a big guy hearing his voice in the cartoons!

I voted for Peg Leg Pete. Bletcher's best voice performance!
'Nother Fun Fact: He also voiced a number of villians in "A Cartoonist's Nightmare."

Pegleg Pete, all the way!
Pete isn't the only villain Mickey Mouse needs, though. If you read the comics, you'll know that the Phantom Blot, Profs Ecks, Doublex and Triplex, and Sylvester Shyster make good foes, too.
(BTW, who says Bletcher didn't get to sing outrageous stuff for Disney's Big Bad Wolf? In THREE LITTLE WOLVES he does a great rendition of "Schnitzelbank"!)

Did Billy Bletcher also do the voice of the bulldog Butch in a few Tom & Jerry shorts?

Yep. The only one I can recall at this time is "The Truce Hurts."
I voted for Peg Leg Pete. I've only seen one cartoon with Peg Leg Pete in it, but the voice Bletcher does for the character is the best! Bletcher has to be my second favorite voice actor. (The best being Mel Blanc.) I like any character that Billy Bletcher voices! I like the nasty villian type voice!

He also does Butch in "Quiet Please" (1945) and "The Bodyguard" (1944) ("Anytime ya ever needs me, just whistle!").

Right-O Dave! I thought of that, but I thought I may be the only Floyd Gottfredson devotee around these parts. I forgot that you've done some interesting work with these characters too. Maybe someday, I'll be able to read your newer stuff in English.....
