When the G.C.P.D. forcefully enter Wayne Manor, Bruce and Tim are both dressed as their alter-egos. Then, the episode opens with Batman and Robin running from the police--IN THEIR SUITS. But in the flashback segment after the opening Batcave escape sequence, Batman recalls them wearing their regular suits, and as Bruce Wayne and Tim Drake.  I smell a plot hole, my friends.....

I'm guessing that it took the cops a few minutes at least to discover the entrace to the cave...and during that time Bruce and Tim pulled one of their fast changes!
:D Imagine how embarassing it would have been if the cops had broken in while they were changing! LOL

There are numerous instances where Bruce becomes Batman in 4.7 seconds flat ;). Or maybe they flipped the switch on their way down the Batpoles.

Well, it is taking place inside a dream, and that kind of logic doesn't really apply.
I think that's the most charitable interpretation.

I agree; they ran downstairs and changed. In Judgement Day, Bruce is doing undercover work, then gets the info he needs, and he jumps into an alley as a fisherman and jumps out as Batman.
Sometimes you have to throw normal logic out the window, and remember that this is about a man dressed as a bat that fights people with powers (most sans-powers, but you get my drift :) )
