differant actors playing the same charecters in sequels..

please excuse my bad spelling im not very smart and i have trouble spelling words any way...... a few days ago i was watching halloween 6. and an actress other than jamie lee was play the chacter in 1,2, and h20. i was watching it with mxy and i didnt realize it was the same charecter until the he told me after the movie. so my question. does new actors playing fimilier chacters in sequils make the movies less fun to watch?

I think it can be too much of a stretch, yeah.

In the Batman movies, 3 different men played Batman and 2 played Harvey (later 2Face) Dent. Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer (a better choice for AzBats IMO) and George Clooney are hardly interechangable but the Two-Face situation was a joke. Billy Dee Williams and Tommy Lee Jones...

I am not as interested in a sequel if they get different actors/actresses to play the characters. I don't rule out watching the movie, of course, but I wish they would secure some of these people in better contracts from the beginning.
