I thought this episode was great! the only thing that seemed off to me was the fact that Tony, Pepper, and Rhodey manage to get out of the hospital so quickly and Pepper's voice during the fight scene was a little flat.

look like we be seeing rescue this season if we know pepper she never let up getting her own armor till tony caves but doesn't pepper have to be fatally injured and get the heart deviece tony has first wonder how that will happen?

i really dispoinated we didn't see much of the melter another iconic iron man villian turn into a diety.

next week the only villian outside of modok who memory it seem is erased to learn iron man identiy returns from the dead the living laser is back!

Well Rhodey does not need one to pilot the armor or War Machine and Happy could get in the Ironman Armor quite easily too. So no she would not need it.

What disappoints me with Melter was not that he was turned into a diety but that unlike the other villains turned diety's in this series we don't get to see what the Melter can do.

On Gamefaqs where I regularly visit there were a few anti cartoon people praising Armored Adventures for actually giving villains closure which they say was something Super Hero cartoons never do. They would use Living Laser as an example. I always told them it was quite possible he could return in season two and they pretty much ignored me.

That being said I was not expecting Living Laser to return in the third episode.

This was an exciting episode, and I like the enw armor, but did anyone else feel that Blizzard felt like he was shoe-horned in? He was here for not much reason, it felt kinda random.

Yeah, I thought that Blizzard's appearance was unnecessary as well. His motivation made sense, but still.

Well no not really! I mean if someone were to go up to the Blizzard and tell him: How would like like to make some money and get revenge on Stane and Ironman? he be there no questions asked. The fact that he got an upgrade to his freezing powers that is just a bonus.

I would've laughed if one of them punched the doctor saying that's "That's NOT funny!!"
Because that's what I would've done!

Yeah all Fix had to say was "we have Stane if you help us defeat ironman you can kill him" and Blizzard would be there in a heartbeat.

I liked the episode and enjoyed it more than part 1. I thought it was quite tense when Tony and Rhodey were both in a perleurious postion fighting Mr Fix and Whiplash. But this episode did once again showcase how ineffective Rhodey is as a support link. Also, considering Gene has already acquired the 6th ring, i think his story will be concluded midway through the season and will likely redeem himself once he dream is proven to be a falacy to join the main team. Looking forward to the next episode.

It was alright and a step up from the final episodes of the previous season, but nothing special. Hammer was obviously the one giving Fix orders, the "Tony's dead" joke was poor and made Yinsen look like a jerk, and beyond nearly killing Tony it was a fairly standard episode with nothing really new. Fights scenes were good, as always, but that was it.

One big complaint I have, why is Howard still Gene's captive? They're alone together and multiple times Gene is not wearing the Mandarin amour, so why can't Howard knock him out, take the teleportation ring, and go home to Tony? There are several moments where Gene has got his back to Howard and Howard is bigger, older, and presumably stronger than him. One quick blow to the head and the series can be over with, which is why he's not doing it.

I remember someone around here saying the same thing when the Laser died the first time. I don't think he had a response when they brought him back but I think he said the same thing when he died again. Which it was really obvious that he'd be back since it'd happened before, which really undercut the heroic death. It's not playing against Superhero tropes it's playing them straight and doing one of people’s major complaints about comics, not keeping people dead.
