What was up with that episode? oh yeah... are their still plans for the spin off series about Skully's baby?

That episode was pure crap. To think, only a few eps left and they're wasting it on crap like this -_- Outside of the 'Closure' episode that resulted in destroying the entire storyline of the show, this is the worst episode ever. A complete and utter waste, thats all I have to say.

And no, there are no plans for a spinoff. Hopefully the baby will be killed off before the 2 hour finale. That whole part of the storyline has been horribly misused.

I was Wondering, When X-Files is over, what shows should go in that time slot? I'm Thinkin' Andy Richter and Greg the bunny for the slot.

Good question. They're going to do reruns all summer, that's probably definite. I don't know what they're going to do for next fall though...maybe they'll find some new hour long show, I don't know what they could replace it with that would be as cool as X-Files once was. I guess it doesn't really matter to me either way, I don't really watch X-Files anymore, or Fox at all for that matter. They cancelled or hid all the shows I was ever interested in.

What a bizarre episode. I didn't think it was absolutely, horrendously atrocious, but it was just... really weird. I mean, I half expected parts of it to be a dream.

It was cool to see Scully look interested though. I mean, she seemed so apathetic most of this season. Also, for some reason this ep kept making me think "Reyes is no Mulder."

I havent heard anything about a spinoff about Scully's baby. I doubt it's in the works. Though an X-Files movie for 2004 is.

As for what's replacing TXF's timeslot next year. It's rumored to be Joss Whedon's new series. Firefly, I think it was called.

Thank God! I thought it was just me. I'm normally a pretty intelligent person, but this one had me scratching my head. What was up with the opera at the end?? Blech :p

Can't wait to see Mulder again, though.

I actually have not seen one single episode from this season. Always something else on that interests me more. However, I had read that they were going to have an episode that tied up the loose ends from the dangling plot in the Lone Gunmen finale. Has this aired yet? I hope I didn't miss it.

If Fox knew beforehand they shoulda kept Lonegun Men, it would have slid in easily. But most likely they'll replace it with 24.

Fox knew before hand. Wasn't the Lone Gunemen originally being bred to be the Sunday replacement for the X Files? They knew this day was coming when TLG premiered.

I'm wondering when they're finally going to get to wrapping up the storyline. I don't see how they can do the series any justice with so few episodes left to conclude it. They're not waiting for the last episode, are they? I was hoping for a multipart arc to close out the series.

The way they've created one loose end after another, I'd figure they'd need a whole season to get everything straight. That said, here's the final eps

9x14 - Scary Monsters - another standalone, return of Leyla Harrison
9x15 - Jump The Shark - Have no clue what this is about. This could be the ep where they tie up the LGM ending.
9x16 - William - My guess, a myth ep.
9x17 - Release - Duchovny directed, probably a standalone.
9x18 - Sunshine Days - No clue what this is about.
9x19,20 - The Truth. 2 hour series finale.

Boy, this is really a short season.

Why do they have to tie everything up? Isn't there supposed to be another feature film?

And sorry to sound pushy, but anybody know the answer to my Lone Gunmen question?

The feature film is supposed to be more of a stand-alone.

If your question was "Has this aired yet?" I thought I answered it by listing the eps... no it hasn't aired.

If your question is "when is it airing?" I'm not sure. I'm guessing it might be "Jump the Shark" which airs in 2 weeks. But I'll post when I get solid info.

Yeah, 'Jump the Shark' is supposed to wrap up the Lone Gunmen thing. I can't wait, I loved the show during those scant few weeks when it was actually on. A lot funnier than those lame sitcoms on the networks.

And I've heard conflicting reports on the so called 2nd movie, so you never can tell. Don't count on seeing one for a while with the way the ratings are going. I would much rather see them wrap up the show completely and only do stand alone 'monster of the week' movies then see them have a lame cliffhangar in the finale for a movie that might not even happen.

You're kidding me. So we're looking at maybe 3 mythology episodes? That makes no sense. The series has been building towards this for years, and the conclusions only going to be a couple episodes? I don't see how the writers can possibly satisfy most of the fans.
