With the mention of a JLA/JSA crossover, I was wondering if Timm and company will borrow ideas from some classic JLA comic storylines. And which period(s) of the JLA's long comic history would they give a nod to? What memorable storylines would you like to see?

Although not really considered "classic", I'd love to see episodes devoted to Ra's Al ghul whuppin the JLA, Prometheus whuppin the JLA, and finally, the formation of the Justice League of Antarctica.

Classic JLA comics are definitely a factor. Timm pretty much confirmed in the interview that the pilot episode is based on the "No Man Escapes the Manhunters" story in JLA #140-141.

If they do base the JL-JS crossover on a classic story, my vote is for JLA #29-30, which introduced the Crime Syndicate.

They'll be adapting a classic Green Lantern story, which involves GL being blamed for estroying a planet and going on trial for the destruction of it. I also heard rumors that we'll even see the White Martians!
