The comedy, the writing, the characters, the voices, the music - there are a lot of reasons to like that show!

They're characters I can relate to. I'm an Eddy (a real schemer) and I've got an Ed of a brother. Plus I'm torn over which female character will be more of a knockout in ten or so years, Nazz or the blue-haired Kanker girl (May?)....

Its a rest for my brain. I don't have to think, figure out plot twists, or deep meanings. Just watch three boys reek havoc for a half-hour. And that, to me, is quite entertaining. :D
thank you

I love Ed, Edd n Eddy by a lot of ways:
By the characters:
You can always relate to any (or all) the characters. Here's how I'm like the Eds. I'm like Ed because I can change my thoughts to my own little world. I'm like Double D because I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I'm also really smart (I'm also very casual). (Mostly) I'm like Eddy because (when I was younger) I pulled few scams to my neighborhood, I have a high ego, I sometimes want things my way, and I'll do almost anything for money.
The number of characters seem to be "set up" in a way; like it was perfect. If you missed one character, it would seem incomplete. If you had even one character added, the cul-de-sac would have "extras" (which the animals play in a role). I kinda support Danny's idea of not adding extra characters.
By the show itself:
Ed, Edd n Eddy is so full of comedy, that they actually make the word (comEDy)! It's mostly the homor that gets me into liking it so much. You'll never know what scheme the Eds will come up with, and it's really funny to see if they'll either succeed or fail on it, so their epsiodes are (in a way) unpredictible, especially in the upcoming Season 4.
I also find it very clever and witty to have "Ed" or "Eds" in every subtitle for the episodes. It also gives a small game in it; if you try to solve the whole phrase ("Ed" or "Eds" replaces a word in a phrase).
By the voices/sounds/music:
You have to admire the voices in Ed, Edd n Eddy. They're just too amazing to explain. Erin Fitzgerald told me that May's voice is her natural voice, but when she does Nazz's voice (Nazz was originally voiced by Tabitha St. Germain), she has to change it with precisness (try doing that). Samuel Vincent said that his real voice isn't like Double D's, but he has to change his tone to make it sound like Double D. Kathleen Barr, who does both Marie Kanker's and Kevin's voices, has to make a change too. Imagine trying to change from a girl's voice to a boy's voice in alternating episodes. If you think that the characters "sound all wrong," think again on the voice actors/actresses who work on them.
The Eds have really great sound effects. In Season 1, it's kind of obvious to hear; like a seal barking (in "Read All About Ed") and various sound effects in "Sir Ed-A-Lot." The later Seasons have sound effects too, but not too much like the earlier classics of the Eds. The sound effects are given the best in quality too. There was a clip from CN's site that showed how they chose a great sound effect for "Eds-Aggerate" (when a lunch box hit Double D - instead of hitting a lunch box, they used a shovel to tap a fire extinguisher - very clever!).
The music of Ed, Edd n Eddy is very lively, and there's alays a song in each Season (so far); Double D playing his pedal steel guitar in "Avast Ye Eds," the dance music at the end of "Dear Ed," and (the popular with many Eds fans) "That's My Horse" song in "Wish You Were Ed." Of course, there are other songs in, like the radio music in various episodes, "You're Too Fat For Me, I'm Too Fat For You" song that Ed sings in "Key To My Ed," etc.
Those are my reasons why I like the Eds. Altough it can never express how much I really like them, it still gives a little idea of how much (all of what I said is about 10% of much much I love Ed, Edd n Eddy). Need I say more, or is that enough?

I like it for a lot of reasons, but mainly that everyone can relate to it in some way. Adults like it for the reminder of youth, kids like it cause it's what they do.
I relate to Eddy because MY ego is inflated with air. Not proud, but atleast I can admit it.
Will be a favorite for all for a long time.
