Dont forget to move those clocks ahead by an hour tonite! (2am to be specific)

I really hate losing the hour. If it were up to me, we'd set the clock back an hour every day. Actually if it were up to me, I'd be stuck in a live version of clockstoppers. All the time in the world...

I always thought that it would be better if instead of springing ahead one hour, we fell back 23 hours to balance things out. It would be like a 3 day weekend! :p

Then, each year would have an extra day. The calendar for the seasons would be thrown off very quickly.

We'd drop a day off of the calendar during those 23 hours to balance it out. It's all good.

Trust me, I've got it all planned out. Put me in the Oval Office, folks, we'll go places. ;)

The only good part of Daylight Savings Time is when you set the clocks back in October. I'm not interested in losing time; I'm interested in making it.

I didn't lose any valuable time. All I lost was an hour of sleep.

This is not Daylight Savings Time. It is really the other time that is "Daylight Losings Time". This is because the clocks setting back (losing an hour of daylight at the end of the day) is relatively new. It didn't happen in the early part of the 20th century.

I recall hearing in an ep of Powerpuff Girls that DST was Ben Franklin's idea to save money on the burning of candles. I'm not sure if that's true or not, but...guess who forgot about it and wound up sleeping late. That's right, the jari chico himself.... :o :wakko:

I was at a Drumline (think indoor marching band with only pecussion) competition last night until about 2 am. On the upside, we're the state champions. Go Waterford Mott! :D
