Seems credible enough, looks like only Raikou: Legend of the Thunder will be a DTV (or shown on Fox Kids) Pokemon 4 will be coming to theaters and so will 5.
Looks like Miramax is doing something right, let's hope they allow the movie dub to be better then WB.

Mewtwo Returns was a TV special, not a movie.

So was the Raikou movie. I suspect it may lead into a season 6 (which would start next year in Japan around this time).
Movie 4's the shounen ai one... and movie 5 kinda looks like it takes place in Venice but I'll know more from my summer tapes.

That is great news. I like pokemon, but the movies are a big let down, I only ever go see them because my little sister is a pokemon fan and begs me (can't say no to the puppy dog look). Pokemon movies aren't that bad though, at least it won't be spy kids...*shudder*

I like pokemon too and the first movie was great..The second kinda put me to sleep and i just never ,made it to the 3rd. I'm buying the MewTwo returns tape with my next pay check.
Talk about bad language.....It was the popularity of "Pokeman, that doomed BATS, ANIMANIACS, SUPERMAN, ETC. I rememeber reading a news release at a predecesor of this board, one that Brian edited, that said that the first POKEMAN shows had the highest ratings for such a kids show in TV History. Now, I am not against "Pokeman" Everyone has their own tastes, but I am saddened that on regular TV, (I will not get cable) we will not see new eps of our favorites. But, you cannot blame "Pokeman" or even WB, if tastes change, well, how many of you own a dial phone? Saddest part is, that Pokeman is not really very well animated with those moving mouths...It may have helped to doom full animation as we knew it....Thanks for reading this, even if it is off topic a bit...Stuart :)

Yup you can't Blame pokemon, blame people like me and the kids that watch it religiously. Up until a few weeks agao it was the top KIds Program on Tv.. but it still gets excellent ratings.
I'm glad the mega hype is over, as long as the Tv show does well and the games sell well. I'm good. We all know the games will do well and the Tv show with it's more imaginitive ideas and new pokemon coming up is sure to be a long laster.
