I have been collecting Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies in .avi and .mpg files for the last couple of months, getting me a nice collection. After reading some of this forum, it seems like you guys are collecting tapes, but I ask anyway, is there a good place for trading?

And how do you keep track of your collection? I mark all my files with what seems like the number (taken from bcdb.com), year and name (like: merrie_melodies_-_234_-_1945_-_bugs_bunny_adventure.mpg). The problem with this is the errors I find in the bcdb.com database, it makes my collecting a lot harder having to doublecheck everything before marking it. If you have an easyer way to keep the episodes arranged (and at the same time keep track of what I have and what I miss) I would be ever gratefull. :dot:

There's probably many ways to catalogue the WB cartoons. I like to go chronologically by release year, as it makes a nicer variety for playback, as opposed to grouping by the cartoon's main character or star. As for trading, some of the members here may be able to help. Keep checking and welcome to the Terrace !
