With all of the Marvel Animated Features DTVs now out I thought a little thread comparing and asking what is everyone's favorite was in order. So check the poll above, make your choice and tell us why.
Personally, while I enjoyed pretty much all of them, Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow has become a favorite of mine. It really feels like "classic" Marvel to me and it's lots of fun I find. I think the DTVs really got their footing around Next Avengers and remained really good from there on out. The last four DTVs are great but the first four are of varying quality the more I rewatch them with The Invincible Iron Man possibly the worst.

From the list above, I'd have to choose Ultimate Avengers; I thought that the characters, while visually the Ultimates universe version, were much more aligned with their MU616 counterparts.
The fact that it was all about Captain America didn't hurt, either. Especially the hints of the beginnings of a romance with the Black Widow. Yes, just a little fanboy wish fulfillment there. Mark Gruenwald kept flirting with the idea when Cap was dating Diamondback, but it never really came to anything, and I'd always liked the idea.

I think Planet Hulk has been the best one. Although I haven't watched Tales of Asgard yet, I don't think it'll top it. I think it was the best written one, had the most emotional impact and had amazing fight scenes.

I'll hold off from voting until I see "Tales of Asgard" but as it stands I say Ultimate Avengers was the best. Next Avengers... can't see how anyone can all that their favorite but to each their own.

Ultimate Avengers (the first one) is my favorite, but I really love Hulk vs. Wolverine, too.

Planet Hulk. I think it was the most complete and ranks up there with the best DC animated films recently released.

Haven't seen Thor: Tales of Asgard yet, but outside of that I have caught all of these. Planet Hulk is the one I went with. Wouldn't rank it against the best of DC's DTV, but it would rank against some of the better ones. Hulk vs. Wolverine was also pretty solid.

I think Hulk Vs. is the best without a doubt. It's a very "raw" sort of movie - but that's what I love about it. It's violent. It's simple. It's exactly what I look for in a comic book adaptation; enough of a plot to keep you invested and provide an excuse for interesting characters and settings.
Planet Hulk and Doctor Strange are both pretty close behind, though.

I think Planet Hulk is technically the best but Next Avengers is honestly my favorite, or at least the one that I've revisited the most. When I first heard about the Teen Avengers concept, which I first thought would be something similar to the proposed Gotham High, I absolutely hated it. Seeing those first character designs didn't help at all. Eventually seeing the first teaser got me open to the idea. Some of my first comic reading experiences were with my older cousin's What Ifs and I guess I've always had a thing for alternate future stories. When I finally got to see the movie, I didn't think it was perfect but it just sort of clicked with me. I thought the dialogue was the funniest in any of the dtvs at that point, the action was much better than I expected and it was probably the movie that held my interest the most throughout the entire film. There's also this weird sense of nostalgia I feel when I watch it, harkening back to the adventure movies I loved when I was a kid.

I honestly liked Next Avengers and would be ok with seeing a sequel.
I know Marvel could only use certain characters then I would want to see what happened to the mutants and Namor.

I haven't seen Tales of Asgard or Next Avengers but Planet Hulk was pretty easily the best of what I've seen. I'm not a big fan of Hulk but it was engrossing and was pretty much the only Marvel animated movie that I would categorize as "good".
AS a whole, I don't think DC's animated movies are leaps and bounds better than Marvel's. But JL: Crisis on Two Earths was REALLY good. And I thought Batman: Red Hood was pretty close to great. Those two movies leave anything Marvel has done in the dust.

I felt the Dr. Strange feature was better than most give it credit for, and a welcome alternative from all the expected and obvious character choices..

I definitely give it credit for being the only feature to not have either Iron Man, Hulk or Thor in it as well as the pretty deep characterization of Doctor Strange, but I just don't think the story was as compelling as Planet Hulk.

Hulk Vs., man, it was seriously the best. The others were mostly lame, I remember Ultimate Avengers being good but I saw it a while ago, and Hulk Vs. just had more bright colors and crazy violence. Making a double feature of 45 minute, epically-animated fight sequences with cool supporting characters was a great idea.
Tried to watch Planet Hulk and immediately got bored with the bland adaptation of the much superior comic. Plus the whitening of the eyes of the shadow people annoyed me a lot.

I'd go with Ultimate Avengers. I loved that film, and I watch it every year. The sequel wasn't that good though.

Planet Hulk. Between the stellar action sequences, great character development, interesting setting, and one of the most compelling incarnations of the Hulk in animation, there's very little to criticize about this feature. I just hope to God they keep it a one time film and don't ruin the ending by making a World War Hulk's feature, much like the comics did.

Well "Thor: Tales of Asgard" turned out better than I thought it would but at this point I'd have to say it's a draw between Ultimate Avengers and Planet Hulk.

Admittedly, I've only seen about half of those...
But of the movies I've seen, Ultimate Avengers was the best. Not because it was a good Avengers movie, but because it was a really good Captain America movie! In retrospect, it may have been better if it had focused even more on him, and less on the others... The movie's other big advantage was that it was a unique take on Bruce Banner. Treating him as a Steve-Rogers-gone-wrong was...well, it was intriguing.
And the ending fight was pretty awesome. The Hulk pawns Giant Man, Thor, and Iron Man, and Cap still has no hesitation about walking up to Hulk and punching him in the face! That shows guts....
Avengers Next would be my runner up, mostly for having the first decent animated appearance of 'Hawkeye' before EMH came around. Would have been nice to see a little more interaction between Hawkeye Jr, Cap Jr, and Thor's daughter, but, you take what you can get, I suppose... Oh, and Vision was pretty fun in that movie, too.

Making a double feature of 45 minute, epically-animated fight sequences with cool supporting characters was a great idea.Hulk Vs. loses major points for me due to it's depiction of Thor and his fellow Asgardians. At least in "Hulk Vs. Wolverine" where it was ambiguous as who to the true winner could be, in "Hulk Vs. Thor", Thor (one of the most powerful Marvel characters) has literally zero effect on Hulk and basically serves as a walking punching bag.
Tried to watch Planet Hulk and immediately got bored with the bland adaptation of the much superior comic. Plus the whitening of the eyes of the shadow people annoyed me a lot.I haven't read the comic myself, so I'm ignorant to any changes that were made. Hopefully when I eventually get around to reading it, it doesn't ruin my enjoyment for the movie.

That shows guts....If you like tough Cap facing down Hulk, I suggest reading Ultimates, the comic the movie was loosely based on.

I've enjoyed all of Marvel's DTVs greatly with the exception of Ironman. IM was just okay but elemental antagonists, I usually find boring. I really enjoyed Dr. Strange, more than I thought I would. I actually own all of them with the exception of Next Avengers but I recently got a chance to watch it on DXD and it wasn't too bad. My favorite is of couse Planet Hulk. It's actually my most favorite animated film of all produced from either Marvel or DC.
