I haven't had the time to listen to the commentaries yet but the featurette was good and The Avenger: Earth's Mightiest Heroes looked excellent in high definition. I was surprised to see it in Hi-def since the Wolverine & The X-Men episode on the Planet Hulk Blu-ray was in standard definition. The featurette was definitely filmed awhile ago and I couldn't help but chuckle when seeing all the 2009 copyright dates here and there. They really sat on this for awhile.

So, from what I've heard, the features on the DVD and Blu-Ray versions are the exact same.
The only difference for Blu-Ray is audio/video quality?

I've also seen the screen comparisons.
So, if they're the same (features-wise) but the Blu-Ray is... well... Blu-Ray quality...
I'll definitely be picking up the Blu-Ray version.
It looks so much better.
Which is a rare thing for me to say. I've seen a lot of HD transfers that suck. And I've only seen a few that really blow me away.

I'll definitely snag this on Blu-Ray.

Also, more about the feature. The packaging.

First. It's a movie about like 16ish year old Thor. But the cover has an image of Thor that looks to be in his 20s.
Odd.
Also, about the cover.
It's friggin' He-Man. It's so He-Man, it makes me want to hear Thor say "By the power of Greyskull!" more than I want him to say "For Odin! For Asgard!"

I've had this Blu-Ray for a while, still have yet to watch the actual movie though, but I did pop it into my PS3 getting ready to watch it, but I ended up watching the EMH episode instead. I didn't even know that was on the release, and it was in 1080p HD as well! I'm really hoping the other 25 episodes get a Blu-Ray release. EMH just looks awesome in HD. And I'm glad that DC and Marvel have been putting on HD versions of these bonus episodes lately, I hope they (well I guess just DC at this point) keep it up.

Also, about the cover.
It's friggin' He-Man. It's so He-Man, it makes me want to hear Thor say "By the power of Greyskull!" more than I want him to say "For Odin! For Asgard!"I didn't really notice at first, but you're definitely right, it evokes a strong He-Man vibe far more than it does Thor.
