Funny that the very first sentence in Jerry Beck's article on the closing of the Warner Bros. stores was this:

"Better buy those Bugs Bunny mugs and Tweety key chains while you can."

Because check this out:

I hope they suspend that menace to society for a long long time. I can only pray that they didn't catch her too late and that there are no undiscovered dead bodies sitting under highway bridges, slain by the Tweety keychain.

Jack:rolleyes:
I hope you know that was sarcasm...

Yes, and there will be Ashley, our juvenile culprit, peering out over the bridge and exclaiming:

"The poor puddy tat! He faw down and go BOOM!"

Of course, CN will edit out that part.

Boggles my mind that you have to say that. Well, i guess you don't have to so i guess what really boggles my mind is that anyone would take what you joked about seriously! Ay caramba...

I'm wondering, though, if a Tweety Bird keychain is a weapon, what do the students write with??

Gotta cover my back. You won't believe the things I've said that were meant as a joke, but were taken really really seriously...

I don't know, the real question is, what do they write on? Paper can leave some real nasty cuts if you aren't careful, and boy does the metal from a spiral notebook hurt when you get poked with it. Anything can be a weopon, necklaces, ID lanyards, books, shoes, bathroom passes, keys, sporks, lunch trays, shoelaces, rope, soap, fingernails, old tin pails...

There must be some kids at that school with some d***ed tiny necks.
What next, nixing milk? (It can be poured into the heating vents to create an effective stink bomb....)
