Jeez, when what's considered the greatest game of the 21st Century (with 39 Game of the Year wins in 2004, Metacritic score of 96%, named Game of the Decade or Greatest Game Ever by at least five separate publications) loses to a mediocre Final Fantasy spin-off, I worry for the future of this competition.

Anyways, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom (a surprisingly competent fighter and one the Wii sorely needed) and Sonic Adventure 2 (perhaps the last truly good Sonic game).

While I've never played either one of those games, I would think it's because very few people here play FPS. It's either portable's or Nintendo. Nothing wrong with that (I personally don't care for either) but, hey, what can you do?

Anyway, Tatsunoko is the only game I can choose. Never played any of the others.

I think he was a great director. So, if you mean he was a God of directing...then yes. If we're talking about that, then I might say I think we both agree that Stan Lee is a good comic book writer.

Of course, Billy Wilder did make Spirit of St. Louis....so he definitely wasn't infallible.

Metroid Prime. my 2nd favorite video game (and one i'm actually currently playing on hard mode.) there's just so much to love from the incredible graphics (especially for GC), to the cool and unusual bosses to all the little puzzles and things to scan for, and of course the hugely complex plot so complicated that it takes roughly 15 hours to beat the game when you know what you are doing, and more than 30 first time through, and yet it manages to be awesome the entire damn time? yeah, vote for Metroid Prime.

I'll go double Metroid. haven't played Metroid Prime 3, but i've seen the gameplay and anticipate getting a Wii so i can finish off the trilogy. (sidenote, i beat the first prime on hard last week and am currently about 2 days away from beating Prime II in the same mode. never had completed either before, so this is pretty cool). and Super Metroid was pretty fun and a direct continuation of the best game boy game ever, Metroid II

Super tough on the first one, because they're both great games, but Pokemon is THE original. And for the second... Kirby's Epic Yarn. Even if it's probably worse, it's still a solid game, and I've gotta go with the original concept over the straight remake.
