Damnit, I didn't get a "hansome collectors box" when I bought the whole set, is that all the "Perfect session" adds? I paid less than it is advertised too.

I get the feeling that if the boxset presents itself to me this weekend that i get it now or regret it for the rest of forever

well I would git it for that Price. I paid $199.99 for mine like a chump. but 2 questions though.

1. what do you think could have caused this sugre in populatity? after all it is in its 3rd run now.

2. how could they still be selling that box set I thought that tere were only 9,000 of them, I know that I got mine the day after release and it is number 2955. and that was back in november

Don't know mabey they reisued it because of it's rise in popularity.

but what ever the case may Bebop get even more success after all the better the ratings, DVD, and video sells do the better a chance of Knocking on Heavens Door will get released in Richmond, and other Cities, and that's a plus.

BTW it comes with the frist Soundtrack as well if your in to that as an extra.

[off topic]Damn! They only want $100 for the Evangelion DVD box set. Yahoo, here I come![/off topic]

Wow, $140 is a good price for the perfect collection. I wish that they would've thought of this last year so I wouldn't of had to buy all the DVDs seperately.

Too bad I already bought all the DVDs seperately(over a period of several months). I always see these box sets but I can never bring myself to spend $100+ dollars on a box set even though it may be a real deal. I just cant bring myself to do it. (Waiting for trigun box set to go below 70$ :) .

Grr...
This greedy release-them-individually-and-do-the-box-set-later-without-telling-anyone-of-our-nefarious-plan-ha-ha-ha plan is REALLY beginning to get on my nerves. If they release a Gundam Wing Box set I am going to be SO pissed.

It's getting better in the US market. More & more sets are getting released with the box included with disc 1 (Love Hina, Beserk, etc) or the box is available seperately (like it is with Eva - you can get either box alone, with the remastered disc #1 or with all eight discs) after all the discs have been released.

You can get the Eva series, on sale, for $240, $30 a disc. Then you go out and get the box set for $79.99. If I paid $240 for something I'd be able to wait a little while and buy for 1/3 that price I'd be upset, too.

Oh, and thanks for that link. I bought the Eva box set there.

And to think that I was about to shell out 40 bucks for the first volume and the box...

I've got an outstanding order for the metal Eva box with the remastered Disc 1 (I was going to buy the other 7 discs one at a time when I could find them cheap). I changed the metal box order to be a 'box only' order since I'm not going to find the discs for less than $10/each.
