Well hi there!

What I want to ask here (And hope has not been asked or does not cualifies as spam) Do you think there is a scene that sums up a series, like a perfect small way to resume the spirit of the whole ordeal?

Was the first season of the 90s Fantastic Four badly resumed in a dialog that include something among the lines of “Make sure fiffy growls as it is an important part of the equation. Or the greatness of the second season sumarized in the ending of the Hulk Vs the Thing battle?

Something like that.

It may be a tricky question since I believe we could all go Ben Parker for spidey and say yeah his scene defines spidey so that is the scene that defines the cartoon. But apart from that a special moment in a series that just resumes the best and perhaps also the worst of it.

Hope this turns out interesting.

I deny your premise.

Any show which can be thus summed up is simplistic and trite! :D

Well that in itself is a good answer, though probably I used a example that made it look wrong, I do not think most of Marvel series are simplistic, or well superhero series in general, if you so prefer in which scene of any series do you find the whole spirit and themes of it well presented? The Evan Shopping scene of X-men Evolution for example, The Connor crisis dilemma in Spectacular Spiderman, The Hank McCoy trial of the 90s.

I totally agree with you about the Evan Shopping scene. The #1 theme of The X-Men has always been discrimination, about people comming to terms w/ their differences and doing good, while others just keep on putting them down, and that scene showed that beautifully(& tragically).

But for me, i would say Professor X's entire speech in the final scene of X-Men Evolution truly summed up the entire show perfectly.

"...But one thing was clear. No matter what awaits us; terrible or wondrous, the X-Men will always be there, ready. And of that, I am proud." -Professor X (Ascension Part II)
