a bruce wayne tv series?

hello friends has anyone hear anything about a bruce wayne tv series? if so let me know because that would be sweet . :)

Unfortunetly, no news is currently up about that. But, we are getting a new show called Birds of Prey in September on the WB.

So far there just isn't enough stuff to work with to do a Bruce Wayne series, because that would be before he's Batman. More or less it just wouldn't work. About the only chance there is of us seeing a young Bruce on a series will be in Smallville. And yes, the only Batman-related series that looks pretty good to go will be Birds of Prey. Some people have mixed feelings, it could be good, or it could suck. There are so many possibilities for any series, especially this one, that no one will know till they finally see it. And even then, there were always be people who will love it or hate it.

Yeah, you're right, a Bruce Wayne series would never work.

I mean, who would want to watch a young, billionnaire travel the globe to learn martial arts, master escapes, and broaden his mind. And who would think a series shifting from Japan, to China, to Tibet, to Eghypt, to Europe, to Brazil.......would make for great television.

And who would want to watch an unpolished amatuer vigilante beating on the dregs of the Earth. Who would care about a noble vow to avenge the wrongful deaths of one's parents?

Yeah, this show would never fly!

Yep, it was in the works for a while and then dumped.

It was mainly dumped in favor of the adventures of a young Clark Kent - namely Smallville. The Bruce Wayne show was the go-ahead on the Smallville idea.
