new Ninja Turtles

I heard from a friend that there's going to be a new CGI Ninja Turtles movie directed by John Woo. Is there any truth to that? I know Eastman's a huge Woo fan, but I haven't been able to find anything about such a project on the internet.

I'm kinda excited about thsi project. I used to really love the turtles back in the day. It should be good. If not, well it will still be better than that horrid live-action FOX show.

It sure is true and I'm excited too!! CGI stuff is usually iffy, but I have MUCH faith in my favorite crime fighting turtles AND especially Mr. Woo.

That is from the pilot. Not alot of work has begun on the WOO TMNT flick. He may produce, but unlikely direct. WOo just wants his hands in it somewhere.

Anyone have any idea what the plot is like? PLEASE tell me it won't be like the Fox version, with no Shredder, no catch phrases except for that dumb "bada boom!" line.
