This is a recording of a Secret of NIMH painting I made in openCanvas in March 2011. The imagery of Brisby and her family living in a lantern is based on a dream I had more than anything in the book or movie, and Brisby resembles Shelly Pledger's artwork more closely than Don Bluth's design. This is a piece I've been meaning to do for years, but I've felt unable to the task until recently. I'm quite chuffed with the way it turned out in the end.

Looks good. You obviously spent a great deal of time on this. I kind of wish the characters were more prominent, but the BG is very well done.
