For Don Bluth fans, here's some Secret of NIMH fan art called "Remembering You".

Just who is Brisby remembering? Justin? Jonathan? Jeremy? (What's with all the J's?) What's unique about this image is that I painted and recorded everything in openCanvas. Check it out!

This is a recording of a Secret of NIMH painting I made in openCanvas in March 2011. The imagery of Brisby and her family living in a lantern is based on a dream I had more than anything in the book or movie, and Brisby resembles Shelly Pledger's artwork more closely than Don Bluth's design. This is a piece I've been meaning to do for years, but I've felt unable to the task until recently. I'm quite chuffed with the way it turned out in the end.
You can watch the playback in full quality at your own pace by downloading the original event file and running it in the latest version of openCanvas: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9MOGQC6G (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9MOGQC6G)
