Another feature?

I am noticing little icons by the date and stuff of when we post the posts, some have a grey square with a frown, some have a yellow square with a smile. What is that about?

It's another neat little extra popping up here now that theboards have the memory to use them. It's a simple icon showing who's off and online.

When I was a kid, my ambition was to one day catch my reflection in a mirror not looking back at me (without cheating by using 2 angled mirrors).

Now it's to catch my on-line icon with a grey, frownie face. :p

It's supposed to be a happy computer showing that the poster is currently browsing the boards, or a sad computer if the poster is not. It also doubles as the new posts/no new posts indicator for the main forums page. I was thinking that maybe the faces might confuse people, and that it might be better as just a plain lit/unlit computer without a face. What do you guys think?

I didnt' see the explanation for it, but figured it out pretty quickly on my own. A plain lit/unlit would be more in line with its function as an alert, but I don't see that the face is confusing.

Either or will work I think, but the happy/sad faces does seem like the better idea.
