Images in sigs

Why can't there be any? They can be limited to size so they don't take up to much room.

Even if we limited them in size, we'd also have to limit them in number.... just because we say "File must be less than X bytes" doesn't mean a user won't put 25 different images in their sigs... It's happened before on other boards, and it'll happen again... and we feel you are here to read the messages on the boards, not run through half the thread just cuz someone has a sig longer than the Interstate.

Yeah I had to deal with all those stupid images in sigs over at the Revolution Board. I for one am glad they are not permitted here, plus being a dial-up user it helps me out a lot more. At the Revolution board it could sometimes take 5 minutes for a page to load, cause everyone had huge sig pics, and the when they replyed, those sigs poics apeared again, and again, and again. Don't even get me started on the unbelievably huge animated avatars some people had :p Your system is great the way it is Toonzone, leave it that way :)
