This isn't a thread about bashing religions I just need the thesis of Scientoligist designs for a book report, and stuff about Hubbard's fiction.

He's a rich dork (most likely dead) that hands out college scholarships for drawing and writing in science fiction. His theory is that you should not notify the people who apply for these scholarships on whether he/she won or not. Just like all rich dead dorks who want to be immortalized in a scholarship. These scholarships are titled, "Illustrators of the Future" and "Writers of the Future", respectfully.

here's something from BOTH sides:

pro: (obviously)
http://www.scientology.org/home.html

con: (this is just one of MANY)
http://xenu.ca/index.html

These weren't very hard to find, I.R. It took less keystrokes than your post.

But, as always- I'm glad to help.

Another good one on the con side is xenu.net (http://www.xenu.net). Scientology's been trying to close this one down for years

There's:

-John Travolta
-Kirstie Alley
-The Masterson (Danny, I believe) who's on "That 70s Show"
-Nancy Cartwright (Bart Simpson's voice, but of course...wonder how she felt about the cult episode? ;) )
-Isaac Hayes
-Catherine Bell (of "JAG")
-Chick Corea (jazz musician)
-Tom Cruise
-Doug E. Fresh (noted rapper of both old and new school)
-Edgar Winter
-Anne Archer
-Michael D. Roberts (actor in movies like "Rain Man", "Red Dragon" and "The Ice Pirates")
-Juliette Lewis
-Lisa Marie and Priscilla Presley
-Mimi Rogers

Just in case you wanted a checklist...

Sincerely,

John "Captain Caps" Kilduff...

P.S,

If it counts for anything, Patrick Swayze used to be one, but he switched eventually to another religion.

P.P.S,

I got the names from the Internet Movie Datbase...and what a great resource that is.
