With households, the premiere averaged a 2.8/2.4 million HH and attracted 4.0 million total viewers, also Nick records for a series launch. ChalkZone, a spin-off of Nickelodeon's Oh Yeah! Cartoons, was announced back in 1999, but was constantly delayed. It follows the exploits of Rudy Tabootie (voiced by E.G. Daily of Rugrats and Powerpuff Girls fame), a boy who can maneuver from the real world, to an imaginary world through the aid of a magic piece of chalk. Co-Created by Bill Burnett, a former creative director at Hanna-Barbera, ChalkZone airs Friday nights at 8:30 PM.
