Jerry Beck now links to a piece about Speedy on a website called "POV Online" (you have to scroll down a little bit): http://www.povonline.com/News033102.htm#040202
Any thoughts?
I don't know. It makes us sound like we are demanding non-stop Gonzales on the WB cartoon showings. It's not like we're asking for a special Speedy Show or regular 3-hour Cartoon-Oli marathons with him. I'd bet most of us would be happy if CN gave us one or two each weekend during the Looney Tunes blocks. In other words, like any of the other WB characters (Pepe, Foggy, Road Runner, etc.).
There's a line about how the other WB cartoons from the later years are "rarely" shown on CN. Cool Cat, Merlin, Bunny and Claude, Rudy Larriva's Road Runners, "Corn On the Cop", "Suppressed Duck", "Chimp and Zee" --- I wouldn't exactly call them "rarely" shown. Sure, they aren't played as much as something like "Feed the Kitty" or "Rabbit of Seville", but they still show up regularly.
Oh well, those are just my thoughts.
