Animated.
So much more can be done with an animated version over the live action version. Budget & Actors are the two things that come to mind.

Animated... All the way. These folks know what they're doing, and have respect for the source material. Let's face it, all of the Batman Animated projects just blow away the live action movies.

With respect to the latest crop of superhero movies and the classic Batman and Superman movies, superhero movies shouls always be animated. That way you can keep the real feel of the comic and have the super heavy, over-the-top action in place, Unlike the X-Men movie. The overly matrix outfits and tame super fights.

It should be animated, I've seen the live action show and it was so corny worse than the last Batman.
Animation can open so many other doors, look at Akira. Though I know JL would probably not be that visually stunning, it would probably be more on par with the Batman animated movies *bleah*. Anyway...

What story line could they possibly do? It would be great but please don't have some stupid plot, get some decent authors! Please!!

There are alot of story arcs that could be made into an animated movie or create a new one.

I haven't read JL in over a year, but I heard about the World War?(is that the recent one with multi-titles?) and the Tower Of Babel.

i agree that animated is the best way to go. live action would be too expensive to be worthwhile. it would outbudget itself. i think that a tower of babel animated movie would be the stuff.

Animated all the way! You gotta love Bruce Timm, and Paul Dini's work. they respect the comics, and have made the DC universe more interesting than it ever was. Warner Bros. has had A spotty track record on live action movies, and their animation team continues to eat their lunch. If you hire A group of no name actors, people will say "who are these losers?" (Even if they do get work.) yet if you hire the A list actors, they'll start talking cash like their's no tomorrow. Causing the budget to skyrocket through the roof. (plus they'll start bragging about it with every reporterette (and camera) they can get to.) So their damned if they do, and damned if they don't. Plus you've got the problem of hiring replacements for established roles (Michele Keaton, Val Kilmer, and George Clooney come to mind) You also made A good point about The X-Men movie. As much as I like it, the fights were kinda tame, (Let's hope they get better in the sequle.) yet what else is there to pick? The original cartoon, (with it's crappy animation) or Evolution? (with the alterations on the characters) Of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

My thoughts exactly, right down to a tee.

Live action. Can you imagine seeing the FX of Superman flying, or The Flash? Or Green Lantern's solid light images?

It should be animated, I've seen the live action show and it was so corny worse than the last Batman.

True, but that was the lame version of the JL.

What storyline could they possibly do?

JUSTICE LEAGUE would have to be a trilogy. And the only way to begin a trilogy of this magnitude...

Darkseid, Lex Luthor, and The Joker

Base it on the current comics.

The roster:

Superman, Wonder Woman, J'onn J'onnz, Green Lantern, The Flash, Plastic Man.

Batman and Aquaman would have small roles, and Black Canary would cameo.

Make the story about Darkseid recruiting villains to take down the Jutice League in preperation for his attempt to create New Apokolips on Earth.

Animated

But..... They already have a movie. Secret Orgins. And I'll guess they'll say The Savage Time is a Movie

While a live Justice League is intriguing, let's just stick with the animated feature. Besides, first of all, a live action can be a hit (Superman, The Movie, Batman, Batman Forever) or a miss (Superman IV, The Quest for Peace, Batman and Robin); and, secondly, I can just use my imagination.

animated would be way better! because they can do so much more in a animated movie or show.

Animated - mainly because it's the best way to translate the comic to the screen, IMO. While I loved X-men and am certain I'll drowl all Spidey I think JL is much better off as a toon. Personally I would like to see them do a movie that deals with the Our Worlds at War saga that just ran through the DC titles about 4 months ago. This would allow every character to have a set assignment, let us see a huge range of guest stars and also give us the chance to see Superman cut loose finally against a threat that he's not as strong as.

While they may consider Secret Origins and Savage Time seperate movies I don't - mainly because they come out of the production run and episodes 1-3 and 24-26 whereas Mask of the Phantasm and Sub-Zero were obviously seperate movies.

For now, animated. Until I know for sure that Hollywood has what it takes to pull of a Justice League live action movie...I want it to be animated.

I'm picking animated movie because Hollywood would most likely ruin a live action movie.

Although live action could be very cool, the odds of it being really crappy are a lot greater than if it were Animated. Plus, as has been already stated, there is so much more that can be done when it is animated as opposed to being done live action.
