So how about we continue this influx of cool new games? This one comes from a game on another board which we started about a year and ended prematurely when the host quit.
OVERVIEW:
For those of us who don't watch the show Survivor, such as myself, we begin with a group of people trapped on an island, or in this case, trapped on the Internet. Each round, players cast anonymous ballots to vote one player to be voted off/deleted. The last one remaining is declared the winner, and is able to escape the Internet and resume his/her life.
THE GAMES:
Each round, another game will be played. This game will be chosen and run by the host, and players will compete for immunity. By immunity, I mean that the winner of each game will be immune from deletion, and cannot be voted off the Internet for that round.
IMMUNITY IDOL:
Behold the almighty power of the Immunity Idols! These will be hidden throughout the forum by the host, and he who finds the Immunity Idol may hold onto it to use whenever they wish. Clues will be dispersed in time, and by following the clues to the right page of the forum, you will find the Idol, each one colored to a specific theme. When you find the Idol, a code will be hidden with it - PM this to the host in order to claim it. But beware - Demonic Idols will be hidden throughout the forum as well, and bad things will happen if you discover one of these.
You may hold onto the Idol, give it to another player, or use it. Each Idol may only be activated once, and this must be done BEFORE voting begins. Activating it will grant you immunity, but unlike the immunity received from the games, this will not be announced and will protect you in the event that you are voted off. NOTE: Immunity Idols become powerless in the semifinal round (when three players remain).
VOTING:
After the games are completed each round, voting will begin. At the time chosen by the host, players will begin to PM their votes to the host. When all votes are cast, the tally will be announced, as well as any Immunity Idols which may have been activated. The player with the most votes will be deleted from the forum, forever doomed to act as an internet virus. However, it would be wise to remain on good terms with these viruses - you have been warned.
In the event of a tie, there will be a mini-game, played between those with the most votes. The loser of this game will be deleted.
THE FINAL ROUND:
When only two players remain, the competition will change quite a bit. There will be no games, and the remaining players will not vote themselves. Instead, the viruses - the ghosts of the players who have previously been voted off - will vote for whichever of those remaining should proceed to emerge from the Internet alive.
SIGN UP:
I'll be the host for this competition. I hope to get at least 7 players, but there's no cap. Just post here to sign up! SIGN-UPS CLOSED!
Host: SpideyFan914

ROUND ONE:
THE GAMES!!
Each night at approximately midnight EST, I will post a series of movie quotes. Within the following 24 hours, each player must choose ONE of those quotes and name what movie it's from. But here's the catch - you can't choose the same quote as another player. At midnight, anyone who has not correctly matched a movie will lose the game and their chance at immunity this round! However, if no remaining players are able to solve any of the quotes, it will be opened to other players at midnight, giving you one last chance to win immunity!
IMMUNITY WINNER: JasonFox

Blankments- 3
The Huntsman- 3
Jmill- 1
Frostbite200- 1
DELETED: The Huntsman
ROUND TWO:
THE GAMES!!
I am going to post TWO crossword puzzles! You will then have one week to complete them to the best of your ability. But here's the twist - only one of these puzzles will be chosen by me. The other will chosen by our first virus, the player you just voted out! I hope you've all got The Huntsman on your good side, because this round, you're ALL at his mercy!!
IMMUNITY WINNER: Superpan
THE VOTE!!
The Cartoon- 3
Jmill- 2
JasonFox- 2
Frostbite200- 2
DELETED: The Cartoon
ROUND THREE:
THE GAMES!!
Each day, I will pose each player with one multiple-choice question about his peers at random - but unlike in the movie quotes match-up, this time you will be assigned which one to answer. Answer incorrectly, or fail to answer, and you will receive a strike. Three strikes, and you're out. In the event of a tie, those final players will simply be given a freebie, and the game will continue.
Jmill- Strikes: X X X
cradleman- Strikes: X X X

ROUND FOUR:
THE GAMES!!
Each day, I will some scrambled word, and the first to correctly unscramble it will receive a point! The first man to 5 points wins. But do know, while there is no penalty for wrong answers, you may only respond once a day.
Jmill- Score: 1
cradleman- Score: 1

ROUND FIVE:
THE GAMES!!
I was kidnapped and held hostage for a week! That's right - the host! Eye-witnesses have been able to confirm that the mysterious culprit is one of the four viruses to have been deleted from the Internet - The Huntsman, The Cartoon, Superpan, cradleman. One of these losers must be rather upset with the rest of you, and is back for revenge. The goal: Catch the villain, before he catches you.
Starting at midnight on Day One, a series of clues will be unveiled. However, only one of these is real, and leads directly to the villain. The others have been placed by him. Your job is to isolate which clue is real and guess which virus is out for your head. However, be warned - for every other midnight that you have not solved the case, the virus will kidnap one player, bringing him to that same "Discussion" board that I was trapped on all week! The horror!
IMMUNITY WINNER: Frostbite200
THE VOTE!!

Jmill- 1 immunity idol
DELETED: JasonFox
ROUND SIX:
THE GAMES!!
I will post ALL the clues for the Idols at once! Follow them, and when you find an Idol, post its code right here in the thread. Whoever brings in the most idols wins the games. And just to move things along, I'll reveal another idol per day, so you'd better work fast! Oh, and don't worry - all the Demonic Idols have lost their power as well. Or at least, they should have.... It's always possible that one little demon is still lounging around the board....

Total Drama Island died, because I personally felt that the games didn't really engross me.Maybe somebody should venture into the old Reality Bytes sub-forum, set the viewable threads to "beginning", and see how the ancients used to play. Survivor used to be big on toonzone, or at least it had some players. Got a sub-forum just for roleplaying games created. There hasn't been a post there since 2008, and I'm not even sure if regular members can make threads there, but it is what it is.

Hm, generally only Colin ran these. And technically we're still in the Final 4 from the most recent game, but he sorta disappeared. Idk, it might be fun to start one up again. But if Colin comes back, we will have to put this one hiatus and finish the other. I guess that I'll join.

It's different each round. Sometimes it'll be trivia, sometimes there may be a bit of roleplaying, sometimes it'll be a lightning-fast "Who can get there first?" type thing. I'll take a few ideas from sportsfan's thread (which cradleman linked to), definitely - the only one of his I wouldn't do is the computer game one, 'cause toonzone is a much more controversial forum.

Actually, that could be a good idea. Get some ideas rolling - I'll check it out when I have a free moment.
So, are you two joining then?

Fair enough, but I kinda doubt I'll ever meet that guy. I haven't seen him I joined, and I've been here nearly two years.

Well, there will be a clue which I'll hide and if you're lucky enough to find the clue, it will be like a riddle. It'll lead you to a certain page within the Fun & Games forum - could be in a RTW, Greatest ___ Ever!, or just about anything! I'll have edited one of my posts on that page to contain a sort of follow-up to the clue, and then a code.
Example:
The clue would be....
The streets of Downtown New York suddenly went aflame.
This would lead to Rule New York, on whichever page it was when Raven and I began our war. Then, one of my posts would be edited as such:
The war would rage for years to come. applesauce
Then, you'd PM me "applesauce" and you'd get the Immunity Idol. But I wouldn't recommend looking for idols without the clue, 'cause there will be decoys (Demonic Idols) as well, and if you PM one of THOSE codes, then bad things will happen....
Oh, and just to be clear, the actual clues probably won't be that easy.

I was thinking seven was way too little, too. If we wanted teams and such, we would need at least twelve, probably more.

SpideyFan914
01-30-2011, 03:29 PM
Yeah, I'd really like to get more than 7, but we only had 7 in sports' game and it was still a lot of fun, so it could still work.
I'm not sure what you mean by teams. You can obviously work together, gang up, make deals, etc., but nothing's enforced in that sense. This is a game where anything goes. ;)
Superpan
01-30-2011, 10:04 PM
Again, it's because these games don't really have clearly defined rules or regimented turns. The reasons the Greatest and RTW threads do so well is because they update daily and people could only spend five minutes playing those games.

IT'S TIME FOR ROUND ONE!!!!
Eight frequenters of the ToonZone forums have found themselves overwhelmed by a powerful curse! Jmill, cradleman, JasonFox, The Cartoon, The Huntsman, Superpan, Blankments, and Frostbite200 have been trapped.... within the Internet!!! There is a chance for escape, but only one of these forum-goers will be able to return to the social lives they claim to have left behind!
WHO WILL IT BE???
In Round One, the eight players will each vote one of the others to be deleted from the forum, and forever doomed to roam the Internet. It is a dangerous place to be, but one lucky member will be able to gain immunity from these treacheries. To win immunity this round - HERE ARE THE RULES:
Each night at approximately midnight EST, I will post a series of movie quotes. Within the following 24 hours, each player must choose ONE of those quotes and name what movie it's from. But here's the catch - you can't choose the same quote as another player. At midnight, anyone who has not correctly matched a movie will lose the game and their chance at immunity this round! However, if no remaining players are able to solve any of the quotes, it will be opened to other players at midnight, giving you one last chance to win immunity!
So....
do you want to play a game?
Note: I'll be updating the first post to keep track of the Games, Immunity, etc., so feel free to check it whenever you please!

No, post here in the forum. I'm going to put up 8 movie quotes tonight (for 8 people). Choose ONE quote and post the answer. The trick is that you can't choose a quote someone else has already responded to - this game favors speed.

For those who couldn't figure it out....
JasonFox WINS THE GAMES, AND EARNS IMMUNITY FOR ROUND ONE!!!
And next time you need a good movie to watch, I'd recommend just about any of the ones represented in this game!
And thus concludes the Round One Games.... And so, it is nearly time for
THE VOTE.
Eight players. But only seven will stick around. It's up to YOU who gets voted out! Starting tomorrow night, I will be collecting votes from midnight to midnight, and when all are in, one of these players will be DELETED.
Take the next 24 hours to think things over, and feel free to ask others who they'll be picking. Once the votes are in, you can't take it back, so make sure you're decided by tomorrow.
And.... good luck.

THE VOTE.
Okay, everyone! PM me your votes - you may vote any player, except for JasonFox. The tally will be posted at midnight tomorrow, so if your vote isn't in by then, it will be counted against YOU.
Also, please put your vote in the subject of the PM, as it will be easier for me to tally that way.
Good luck, and BEWARE.

VOTES ARE IN!!
And the tally goes....
Blankments- 3
The Huntsman- 3
Jmill- 1
Frostbite200- 1
And so, the result is.... a tie....?
Well then, um, according to the rules, uh, there's going to be a quick little TIEBREAKER!
So, this is going to be a quick, one-day game, to be played by The Huntsman and Blankments! And the game is - SUDOKU!!
If you haven't played before, here (http://www.sudoku.name/rules/en) is an explanation of the rules. Basically, you must fill each row, column, and boxed-in region with numbers 1-9. Going along with this, no number may repeat in any row, column, or boxed-in region.
The first of our two tie-ees to post a solution (you can simply write it out, don't bother with the grid) will move onto the next round, while the other will be DELETED!

Good luck!

Of course, if you had just sent us a private message letting us know it was time to vote, I wouldn’t have been forced to vote for myself. I checked the thread two days ago when the first round ended, expecting to cast my vote then, but you delayed the vote for another 24 hours for… some reason. I wanted to play this game, too. I don’t know how to play sudoku and I refuse to learn how. In my eyes, that makes me the winner, but reality will say otherwise. I’m out.
SpideyFan914
02-10-2011, 12:32 AM
I delayed because it didn't seem like anyone was talking outside the game, and it kind of isn't nearly as much fun without the alliances, gang-ups, etc. So, I wanted to give some time for that.
(By the way, maybe it's just me, but that puzzle is really easy. I just finished it fifteen minutes.)
The Huntsman

(By the way, maybe it's just me, but that puzzle is really easy. I just finished it fifteen minutes.)I don't like numbers and I have relatively little patience. It's a bad combination for sudoku. I'm not happy about being the first to get eliminated - two games in a row - but I'd rather be eliminated than forced to play sudoku.
SpideyFan914

I'd rather be eliminated than forced to play sudoku.
I'll have to remember this for the next quote game. ;)
Very well. With the forfeit of The Huntsman, Blankments has been spared and ROUND ONE is officially closed!
One player down. Seven remain. But the real question is - WHO'S NEXT??
ROUND TWO
The Game for this round is going to be much simpler. You see, that Tiebreaker was but a small sample - for this round, we'll ALL be playing puzzles! Oh, but don't worry about placing numbers into boxes - no, you'll be placing letters into boxes. That's right:
CROSSWORD PUZZLES!!!
Tomorrow at midnight, I am going to post TWO puzzles! You will then have one week to complete them to the best of your ability. But here's the twist - only one of these puzzles will be chosen by me. The other will chosen by our first virus, the player you just voted out! I hope you've all got The Huntsman on your good side, because this round, you're ALL at his mercy!!
On the last day before the Game's end, send me a PM with your answers. The player with the most correct answers will win immunity this round! Ties (which are unlikely) will be broken based on whichever PM I received first, but remember that I won't be accepting answers until that last day.
So stay tuned for the puzzles, and to The Huntsman, expect a message from me shortly with additional instructions.

The Huntsman
02-10-2011, 02:39 AM
I am curious as to why two people voted for me. I barely got far into the quotes game, only surviving because I selected well known quotes right away. Once the well known quotes stopped showing up, I was eliminated. Perhaps it was my speed that people deemed a threat, since I was always able to post shortly after the update, but I wasn't very good at the game. If I get eliminated right away in whatever game people host next, I'm going to deem myself cursed and just stop playing games outside of Rule The World. I really liked Clue and I sort of liked this, but I barely got to play either of them.
I selected a crossword puzzle, although it may be invalid because it's... different. Either way, that's probably the last thing I'm going to do this game, at least until I'm needed again in the final round.

I never saw Huntsman as much of a threat at this point in the game, either. I'm not even sure why I got a vote. I dropped out of the challenge in round 1. Maybe someone saw me as a quitter.

Uh.... Superpan wins, 'cause no one else sent in their answers. (AND I reminded you! How odd!)
So, um, whether it's 'cause no one had time to do the challenge, or no one logged on all day to see my post, or you're all just really bad at crosswords, it likes Superpan wins IMMUNITY this round!

So, um, whether it's 'cause no one had time to do the challenge, or no one logged on all day to see my post, or you're all just really bad at crosswords...Frankly, I think people just couldn't be bothered. It's like me and that number puzzle. I'd stick to simple, quick games in the future. I noticed the example you posted used a flash game where people had to post their top score after three rounds. Things like that would probably keep people's attention better.

Yeah, I didn't do that one 'cause it's WAY too easy to cheat. (In fact, I still think the guy who won that one WAS cheating.) But I see your point.

Yeah, I didn't do that one 'cause it's WAY too easy to cheat. (In fact, I still think the guy who won that one WAS cheating.) But I see your point.Have people take a screenshot showing their score. I'm sure most people have at least a free paint program on their computer and there are free image hosting sites. It's harder to cheat when you have to post a screenshot, as it takes a lot of work to photoshop an image without being blatantly obvious about it.

On the other hand, it would appear that cradleman and Superpan have never received a single vote against them. Such clear popularity deserves a reward - one they should expect shortly.
But Round Two is ended, and it is time for....
ROUND THREE
On a quick note, I would like to draw everyone's attention to the first page, without the announcement that, contrary to popular belief, I am actually now remembering to update it!
But let's take a look at our next game.... This one's going to be a test of friendship for some, a battle of secrets for others, or perhaps just a battle of wits. To win immunity, you will need to excel at answering questions about the other players!
Each day, starting tonight at about midnight EST, I will pose each player with one multiple-choice question about his peers at random - but unlike in the movie quotes match-up, this time you will be assigned which one to answer. Answer incorrectly, or fail to answer, and you will receive a strike. Three strikes, and you're out. In the event of a tie, those final players will simply be given a freebie, and the game will continue.
For now, all players will be PM'ed a series of six questions. Please answer them in a simple manner (e.g. when asked "What is your favorite color?" just give me a color, not "I don't know.") - failure to answer all the questions will result in an automatic strike. Then, starting tonight at about midnight, I will begin this contest.
So tell me.... DO YOU KNOW WHO YOUR FRIENDS ARE?

Haha, I once destroyed the set in the middle of a show. I put a prop down incorrectly, so it fell backward and toppled our drops like dominoes. I just said, "My manager is going to kill me," and then hid my face in shame until the bows. That was a FUN show....

On a brighter note, however, I've reviewed this past round's games, and it would appear that cradleman is a very friendly guy. Of everyone whose questions you answered, crade's were the one who you most frequently answered correctly! Do know that this has not gone unnoticed, and he will receive an award shortly - THE NEXT IMMUNITY IDOL CLUE!
But alas, for Jmill, cradleman, JasonFox, Blankments, and Frostbite200.... it's time for....
ROUND FOUR!!!!
Our next game will be a new kind of game show. Each day, I will some scrambled word, and the first to correctly unscramble it will receive a point! The first man to 5 points wins. But do know, while there is no penalty for wrong answers, you may only respond once a day.

then you don't know me very well. telling me about the end of an alliance is ok, it was kind of expected. i just don't like finding out after the vote when i got no warning.
So let me get this straight. If the person who betrayed you said that their alliance is over, and then voted you out, you'd be perfectly fine about it? I don't think that's how it works. If someone told me, "I'm voting you out tonight," I would not take it lightly. In fact, I would scramble to change that and get them out. If I can't pull that off, then I would make things as chaotic as possible. (Granted, that's not what would have been said, but implying the alliance is over is NEVER a good omen.)
On the other hand, if someone said nothing and then stabbed me in the back, I'd be angry, of course; my shot at the prize is gone. But you know what I'd do next? I'd seriously consider voting for them at the end. They wanted me out and they did it without me even knowing. That's outwitting and outplaying, two of the major things that the Survivor winner should have done. (The third, of course, is outlasting, and by voting me out and making it to the finals, they did.)
Your ownership of an Idol clue complicated things as well. Nobody but you and maybe a trusted ally knows if you have the Idol or not. By dropping a hint that you're going, it opens a WORLD of possibilities for you to stay alive in the game, and that's not what someone wanting you out wants to happen.

yeah, i honestly don't care enough about the game to go scramble and find ways to vote you out. you can ask spidey, i wasn't even planning on making any alliances for this reason. i figured i'd get voted out eventually, i just wanted to win immunity in the games but i suck too much to win any, lol. and i did jack with the idol clues cause i honestly don't have time to figure them out. (granted, i sure wasn't trusting YOU with them lol.)

03-30-2011, 05:03 PM
CONFESSIONAL:
Jmill STUDENT
UNNAMED TRIBE
So far, camp life's been going pretty well. Nothing too difficult at all. However, it's been a week since our last tribal council, and I'm starting to get paranoid. Our host mentioned that he wanted to involve the viruses; hopefully they didn't attack him in a quest for revenge.
SpideyFan914
03-30-2011, 05:50 PM
Suddenly, the poor host runs into the midst of the finals. I cry out that I have been kidnapped and brought to some strange corner of the forum where people actually discuss current TV shows! Unfortunately, your humble narrator was unable to identify who the culprit was, but before escaping, I overheard him speaking that he's coming.... FOR YOU!!
THE GAME!!
In case you haven't guessed, we're doing a CLUE variation for the next stage of our SURVIVOR series! Eye-witnesses have been able to confirm that the mysterious culprit with a grudge is one of the four viruses to have been deleted from the Internet - The Huntsman, The Cartoon, Superpan, cradleman. One of these losers must be rather upset with the rest of you, and is back for revenge. The goal: Catch the villain, before he catches you.
Yes, I know it isn't midnight. But I don't think that's really a big deal for a "rules of the game" update, so the game will simply begin tomorrow at midnight. Starting at that time, a series of clues will be unveiled.
The horror!
We're going to work this on a "turn" basis, by the way. Basically, Day One, Day Three, Day Five, etc. will be the players' turn, in which you're allowed to send in your guesses as to who the villain is. Day Two, Day Four, Day Six, etc. will be the villain's turn, in which he simply tells me who he's going to kidnap. Why do these need to be separated? Actually, it's a pretty easy answer - you can only guess if you have guessed.
To make this clear....
Day One: clues revealed, players may guess
Day Two: i tell the villain who guessed incorrectly on Day One and he chooses between them who to kidnap
Day Three: kidnap victim revealed, more clues revealed, players may guess
Day Four: i tell the villain who guessed incorrectly on Day Three and he chooses between them who to kidnap
Day Five: kidnap victim revealed, more clues revealed, players may guess
and so on.
So basically, it's a bad idea to take a random stab at who the villain is. Of course, if nobody guesses on Day One, the villain is free to kidnap any player he wants on Day Two.
The victor, and winner of immunity, is whoever first catches the culprit. When you send me your guesses, please PM them by the way. You don't need to explain them either, just be careful that you're sure or you may wind up the next victim.... Once the culprit is captured, all kidnappees will be released for the vote. (Alternate ending: Villain wins, kidnapping three of the four players. Last one standing gets immunity and, uh, everyone else is released for, um, some reason.)
I hope that explanation makes sense. First clues revealed tomorrow night at midnight. Any questions?
Jmill

Sounds good to me. I'm glad you escaped; this discussion board sounds terrible. Current TV shows... goodness, it gives me chills just thinking about it! ;)

DAY one:
As the crew maintains vigilance, fearing the kidnapper's next move, several items have turned up - a Mickey Mouse key-chain, and an old Spider-Man comic which I swear does not belong to me.
Furthermore, we were awakened in the middle of the night by a fiery message burned along the forum: now i'll have to grow up!
If anyone has any theories of who this criminal virus is, please PM me immediately. But be warned - if you're wrong, you may just because his next victim!

DAY three:
I'm afraid I have some bad news - one of our players has gone missing. It appears that the virus has struck again, this time kidnapping Blankments as he slept.
However, a trail of pixie-dust was left behind, though unfortunately the trail goes cold after a while. Furthermore, some of you may have noticed that music playing in the distance this morning - I think I recognize it as The Police. We also found another message scratched onto the ground: "New York was only the beginning"
If any of you believe you have identified the culprit, please PM me immediately!

DAY five:
The villain has been caught!
Following one of your theories, I have tracked down the virus and caught him just before he struck again! The identity of the culprit is none other than cradleman himself! And he would've gotten away with it too, if it weren't for you meddling kids! And that dog!
Except there is no dog....
(I'm tired, okay?)
Blankments has been released, and may just see another round yet! But who is the one responsible for the capture of cradleman, you ask? Why, none other than FROSTBITE200!!
That's right - FROSTY HAS IMMUNITY FOR THIS ROUND!! And speaking of which, it's just about that time again, isn't it? In just another twenty-four hours, I will be once again collecting....
THE VOTE!!
Oh, but keep your eye out.... I've been letting a lot of clues slip lately, and it's just possible I've let slip one more....
PS: Remember, this is the last round for Immunity Idols! After today, all Immunity Idols will lose their magical power - and I will say that there are currently THREE circling round the board!
Frostbite200

Polls are in, and the score is:
JasonFox- 2
Jmill- 1
And Jmill uses an Immunity Idol anyway!!!
Sorry, JasonFox, but every great player must become a virus eventually.... well, except the winner....
And with that, it is time to move on to....
ROUND SIX!!!!!!
Do you realize what this means? Only three players remain. It is nearly time for the endgame, the championships. Two of these three players will make the championships. Jmill, Blankments, Frostbite200. You have played well. You've utilized all the tools I've given you - allies, games, immunity idols. But now, one of these tools is gone - that's right, IMMUNITY IDOLS WILL NO LONGER HAVE AN EFFECT!!!
Yes, all the Idols are losing their power, slowly but surely. Only one player will get immunity this turn, and that will be he who wins the games. And with that said, what better game than a massive scavenger hunt for the depowered idols?
Next midnight, I will post ALL the clues for the Idols at once!

(Sorry I'm late, but you should used to this by now.)
Here is EVERY CLUE for the various Idols!!! GOOD LUCK....
The birds! The birds are attacking the President!
He who laughs at accusations is always right.
The graduate demands recognition.
Don't insult Cars in front of me.
The fate of the world is in my hands.
The filmmaker made his great escape!
The lady wears paint.
Riddler the Darkseid of "BOING!" Ain't it Batty?
Years ago, it started with a box of chocolate....
Wicked senators and hunter-bots are recognized.
He discovered America but went home alone.
Now remember players - whoever brings me the most Idols will get immunity for this round! And, when only three players remain, that DOES basically mean that you get to choose who you face in the championship.
And, in case anyone's curious, here's a list of the idols that were found so far:
Miles to fall. Blame the demons.
- He's all Warren out. (comic character, pg. 52, post #1026) - Blankments Immunity
An education, one which no one would accept.
- Was the cost really that high? (RNY, pg. 5, post #96) - Jmill Demonic
I think this is the beginning of a wicked debate.

Why, Jmill, your straightforward way of thinking insults me. Do you really think I'd make a final epic game so basic? Didn't I mention there was a wild-card in the mix?
Indeed, one of these idols still has a bit of demon power in it, and while not as powerful as it once was, if this be among your collection the game is not over yet. (Plus, one of those was already found....)
I think I'll actually hold out on revealing idols, and only do so on days when none are found.
So, is this a DAY two or what?
The birds! The birds are attacking the President!
He who laughs at accusations is always right.
Don't insult Cars in front of me.

At the beginning of this round I sent out FIVE private messages - one to each virus. There was nothing important in the message, really, just the word "Survivor," to sort of direct them here. But the subjects....
The Huntsman- S
The Cartoon- H
Superpan- A
cradleman- V
JasonFox- E
Together, they spell "shave." For you see, that was the code of the remaining Demonic Idol, now in the possession of Blankments. Though it has lost much of its power, this will automatically strike down Blankments' inventory, and deny him any chance of winning this round's GAMES.
Anywhoo, the final score is:
Jmill- 6
Blankments- N/A
Frostbite200- 0
And the winner of immunity is.... JMILL!!!
Okay folks, you know the drill! Next midnight, the voting will begin. Jmill has now been guaranteed a spot in the championship, but which of our other two players will move on?
ONE SHOULD ALWAYS BEWARE.... the vote.
Jmill
04-21-2011, 10:18 PM
Wow, can't believe I pulled that off. As for the vote, I want to say that it's been a blast playing the game with both of you. I look forward to sitting down next to one of you at the Final Tribal Council.
Hey, Spideyfan: Is the final Tribal Council going to be like the ones in the real Survivor? Like with jury questionings and opening statements and stuff?
SpideyFan914

THE FINAL ROUND:
When only two players remain, the competition will change quite a bit. There will be no games, and the remaining players will not vote themselves. Instead, the viruses - the ghosts of the players who have previously been voted off - will vote for whichever of those remaining should proceed to emerge from the Internet alive.
First post explains a lot, don't it? ;)

Frostbite200- 1
Well, that's pretty clear, right? Sorry, Blanks, but it's the end of the line.
And so, congratulations to our remaining players. You have now made....
THE CHAMPIONSHIPS!!!!!!
That's right! It's the moment you've all been waiting for! THE FINAL ROUND!!
At midnight, I will open up polls and send out PMs to all viruses: The Huntsman, The Cartoon, Superpan, cradleman, JasonFox, and Blankments. At this time, they will send in their votes on who should survive the Internet, and who will be deleted forever.
It's endgame, folks! You have 24 hours (well, a little less) to think it over!!! Champions may campaign all they want, but at the end of the day, only one man will be a....
SURVIVOR.
Frostbite200
04-23-2011, 04:57 AM
WHOA. I really thought I was done for, but i'm not complaining.
Thanks to all of you guys for this, it's been a lot of fun.

Jmill

Outwit. Outplay. Outlast.
I've done all of these effortlessly.
Outwit. By the second Tribal Council, I was working with four different people. Then I started plucking them off one by one. The Cartoon and Blankments weren't these people. Cartoon went first. I managed to rally my entire alliance to vote for Blankments, then I gave him the immunity idol. I was hoping to lose someone different than who lost, but it is what it is. Cradleman went next, and he was not pleased in the slightest. JasonFox went next. Frostbite, you were supposed to go out next. But that didn't happen.
Outplay: I hunted immunity idols like it was gold, Demons be damned. I found quite a few demons in my time, but it didn't matter. My alliances were strong enough to support these. I helped Superpan win the crossword challenge and then won the Idol challenge.
Outlast: I'm sitting here in the final two and none of you are.
You might be wondering why you should vote for me if I backstabbed almost everyone in this game. And here's why: Because I did. I had the guts and took the risks, even if they could result in my elimination. Every time, they paid off. All Frostbite did was win a challenge or two in his time. I believe that someone who's willing to take a deadly risk time after time and make it work is truly a SURVIVOR.
cradleman
04-23-2011, 10:26 AM
yeah, bragging about how you backstabbed people is not going to win them over to vote for you to win jmill. so my plea to all viruses is to eliminate the one that screwed you over, and vote for the one who's just happy to be here, cause he's just a good guy (not to mention a personal friend of mine). Frostbite for the win!

Agree Frostbite for the win! I rather vote someone who played the game like I did than backstabbing even if the game is meant to be fulled of backstabbing.

Hey, I never said that I wasn't happy to be here. Part of that is another reason you should vote for me: Only one person thought to take me out. I was a huge threat and nobody ever thought to vote me out.
I don't know if you've ever seen Survivor, but there's a few people who inspired me. Russell Hantz, specifically. He formed a strong alliance, found idols without clues, and voted out who he wanted, making it to the finals two games in a row. He should have won. But the jury didn't consider who the best player was, and that's how you should vote. Not who the nice guy is but who the best player is.

Well, considering the fact that I forgot to vote last night, I'm reasonably ticked off at the moment, but I just got to say, Jmill, you rallied people to vote me OFF? And then we had an alliance to take us to the final two, which didn't work out because I forgot, but right now, I'm kinda angry. I don't know who I'm going to vote for...

Well I assume the Jury is allowed to speak then. I think that Jmill deserves to win this without a doubt. You guys can't hold personal grudges. He did what he needed to do to win the game, and I really respect that. Jmill tried his hardest, always won immunity, got several immunity idols, and did absolutely everything right in the social game. Regardless of weather he blindsided you, he's the rightful winner of this game.
(Oh, and if there's another Survivor, I think that I actually want to try next time. In this one, I didn't really care. But I'd like to have a bigger game with more than 8 people. At least 12)

no, he's not the "rightful" winner. i honestly had little time to actually play the games, and no time to find the immunity idols, which hurt my chances of winning this game. i'm always a fan of doing what's right to win, not backstabbing people and then bragging about it. Frosty got to the final and did it the right way, and that's why he should win.

But in the end, Jmill had pretty much total control of the game. At any point, he could have chosen to eliminate Frosty instead of someone else. Not to say that Frosty played badly of course, because he made it to the end. But Jmill played better. There is no "right way" in the game of Survivor. If you make it to the end, you did the right way. And then it comes down to who a played a better game. In my opinion, that was Jmill.

That's true... After all, you never once went against OUR alliance, and was relatively faithful to I. Besides, it was my own fault for not being in the final two. Also, I agree with the Cartoon on, well, his whole post. Survivor is about being deceitful to win, and by that count, I'm voting for Jmill as of now. (Perhaps this will calm down Nichols too? I kid.)
Oh, and about another game of Survivor... I volunteer to host it, if everyone's okay with that. I have a bunch of challenge ideas left from my failed Total Drama roleplay, and would love to host it just for the fun of hosting it.

If there is another game, I highly recommend that the person running it decides to wait a while for a lot of people to sign up. If some of the competitors sent around some PM's, we could probably get 20 people and have two teams. Survivor is way more fun with a large amount of people. As for who hosts, I think that should be up to Spideyfan since he ran it the first time and did a good job.

This must be a willpower challenge, with the winner being the last person to attack Spideyfan and grab the final vote.

Shouldn't have gone to Target... Those sales were just too hypnotic to avoid...
But don't you worry, Frosty... I'll be back. FOR REVENGE.

But don't you worry, Frosty... I'll be back. FOR REVENGE.HEHE we'll see. Thanks for a great game Jmill, you were indeed a worthy opponent, but if the watch tiny little portion of Survivor has taught me anything (That's a big fat zero BTW) it's that pissing people off, 9 times out of 10 will backfire in the final tribal council.
I'd could go onto tell you a long -rather dull- story of how I won, but i'll spare you lot just this once, i will however say that I was not lying low the entire game...?!?!?
Blackments, when do you intend to start the second season of Toonzone Survivor? (or TZS) I'd hope you'd leave some time between them, cos after awhile of none stop Survivor, I think we'd get sick of it.
Lastly, if we do a third one, I'd like to put my hand up for Host...ship?
I've been brainstorming, :p
Thanks again everyone, night!

What?! I voted already though. My whole speech about how Jmill should win didn't count? In Survivor, they have to count everyone's votes. :/

In Survivor, they have to count everyone's votes. :/The way I see it, you declared your intentions to vote but never actually voted. I think votes had be made through the private messaging system. At any rate, I had no horse in this race; I only voted for Frostbite200 because I didn’t think he had much of a chance. Frankly, I stopped paying much attention to this game after I was eliminated due to my refusal to play sudoku. I vote that there be absolutely no sudoku in the next game.

Well too late to change it now I suppose. I kinda assumed that people had already voted by posting, and when no one posted in the thread, I just assumed it had already counted. Sorry about that Jmill. I could've made it a tie. And I agree to no Sudoku. People are less inclined to do challenges like that I think.

I don't mind competitions where I have to think I just don't have time to sit and do a Sudoku or Crossword Puzzle.

It's no big deal. We all know I'm the real winner. I'll just prove it next time.
Plus, I have a feeling the tiebreaker would have been Sudoku.

Yeah, votes are ALWAYS collected in PMs. Anything before that is considered unofficial. Although I must admit, I'm kinda relieved The Cartoon forgot to vote, because I have NO idea what I would've done for a tiebreaker. (And it wouldn't have been a Sudoku, 'cause I already did that. I'd probably have hid another Idol or something, actually....)
Oh yeah, and that Sudoku literally took me 15 minutes. It was REALLY easy. The crosswords were hard, yeah, but the Sudoku was easy. So I'm gonna vote yes on that for next season. ;) (I really don't care, lol.)
But yeah, I have to agree with Frosty that part of playing Survivor is not pissing people off. People may vote on whatever standards they choose in the final round, and it's a great place to settle personal vendettas!

I was planning on posting the sign-up thread on Saturday, and then starting it in three to four weeks, AFTER my musical premieres. We don't want a repeat of TDR, or my time in RNY. The whole reason those died was because of my really long rehearsals. But anyway... Saturday, then May 16. That's my plan!

I have a feeling sign ups may take a while, especially if we want enough people for two tribes. The original Survivor on Toonzone (from 2004) took a month to get 18 people.
On an unrelated note, what musical are you in?
