Ever heard of the series of Spider-Man tapes they released in clamshell boxes with episodes put together and billed as 60/80/100 minute movies? I found out about them when I saw the tape "Spider Slayer" at a thrift store and got it. It turns out they were released in Canada, but the tape worked fine on my VCR. It ran 80 minutes, which equalled four episodes. I've seen the first three, which were Spider Slayers, Return of The Spider Slayers and Kraven the Hunter. I haven't seen the last one, but it features Kraven the Hunter. When I searched on Amazon, I found out there were more of them. The videos are:

Sins Of The Fathers - 80 Min.
Tablet Of Time - 80 Min.
Mutant Agenda - 80 Min. (The X-Men crossover, plus 2 Iron Man Episodes)
The Insidious Six - 100 Min. (Has 2 Bonus Iron Man episodes)
Neogenic Nightmare -80 Min.
Secret Wars - 100 Min.
Forgotten Warriors - 100 Min.
Revenge of The Goblins - 80 min.

Can someone please tell me what episodes are on these (besides Mutant Agenda) and the last one on Spider Slayer (I think it could be from season 2)? My spider-sense tells me that all of season 2 was released across 5 of these tapes, and that Secret Wars contains the 2-part series finale as well as the titular three-parter, but I don't know for sure. BTW, There is also the Venom Saga which ran for 60 Min. We all know which episodes are on it. Thanks in advance.

So take heart Spidey TAS fans, the draught isn't as bad as it seemed. I still hopes this gets an official release, but if it's gonna be awhile, I'll glady settle for ten-twenty something more episodes. :D

I just found out that there was a five-parter called The Six Forgotten Warriors, so it's obvious that that's what's going to be on the tape. And I think the season 2 ones will go like this:

Insidious Six (First 3 eps)
Mutant Agenda (4-5)
Neogenic Nightmare (6-7, 9-10)
Tablet Of Time (11-14)

with 8 being the one on Spider Slayer. I would still appreciate confirmation, as well as what's on Sins Of The Fathers, Revenge of the Goblins and Secret Wars. All but one of the season 3 episodes are on DVD, so I'm hoping Doctor Strange is on Sins Of The Fathers.

I can at least confirm that the Secret Wars VHS contains the Secret War 3 parter, with the 2 part finale afterwards. That's about all I can confirm.

I've got the Revenge Of The Goblins VHS Tape, and it contains The Hobgoblin Parts 1 & 2 from the first season (which Morninstar released on DVD from the 2002 Disney VHS release), followed by Enter The Green Goblin and Goblin War!. The last 2 episodes were released Disney's Ultimate Villain Showdown & Return of the Green Goblin DVD's back in 2003.

The Insidious Six contains the first 3 episodes of Season 2 (The Insidious Six, Battle of the Insidious Six, Hydro Man), as well as 2-part Iron Man story (Iron Man To The Power? or one the other Iron Man 2-parters from the 94 series).

The Mutant Agenda is the exact same as Morninstar's DVD release, since Morningstar only had the old Telegenic VHS to use as a master.

Tablet Of Time continues Season 2 with Episode 7 (which is the first episode on the tape, but is listed as a "Special Bonus" because it is the Final Episode of Mutant Agenda that was not released on that tape) Enter The Punisher, Duel of the Hunters, Tablet Of Time & Ravages of Time (Telegenic went with the airing order rather than the production order).

Neogenic Nightmare contains the final 4 episodes of Season 2 (Blade The Vampire Hunter, The Immortal Vampire, Shriek of The Vulture, The Final Nightmare.

Spider Slayer (which you didn't list) is another video that Telegenic released that contains The Spider Slayers, Return of the Spider-Slayers, Kraven The Hunter & The Return of Kraven.

I haven't seen the tapes for Forgotten Warriors or Secret Wars, but I would assume that they contain those arcs. But I have seen Secret Wars charting for anywhere between $80 and $100 dollars US on Amazon and Ebay.

And these were Official releases by New World Entertainment through Telegenic Entertainment.

Now then you may be interested as well in some DVD's that were released in the early 2000's (around the release of Spider-Man 2 in theaters) in Musicland stores in the US that no one seems to know where they came from (or if they were official releases, but the video quality isn't VHS quality, they look like they came from the broadcast masters; plus the cases only carry the "Marvel Films" logo), since the final 2 episodes were released on DVD then, with the DVD being called I Really Hate Clones. tvshowsondvd.com did a story on these DVD's back in the day, and this is the only place that I know of where you can see what episodes were released on the discs: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/news/Spider-Man/1904

tvshowsondvd.com reported a few days later that the DVD's had been pulled, and since then, as far as I've heard, no one's been able to tell if the discs were "Official" releases or what was up with an entire chain getting them.
