Disney could you PLEASE take this series away from CN. Who's going to wake up 6:30 in the morning to watch a cartoon that never has weekly repeats.

I'm up anyways... but I agree. I'd much rather see a sign that CN has some faith in SHS rather than consigning it to the same limbo that swallowed Secret Saturdays and threatens Batman: Brave & Bold.

Thankfully I set it up for the DVR.
And yeah I feel like CN is probably getting "revenge" on Marvel for losing Avengers to Disney (IIRC, when it was first announced, Avengers was set to air on CN). They probably feel like they'll be promoting their rival station if they allow it to air when people can actually see it so they're just letting their contract expire.
HOPEFULLY, Disney will pick it up after Season 2. Since it's a more kids oriented show, maybe have it on DC rather than DXD. At worst, Marvel will be completely clueless and think "Gee, the ratings sure went sour... Well time to cancel it and move on!" Anyone have any idea how the SHS frachise as a whole is doing? I know it started out as an Action figure line, there's a comic book series as well."
As for this episode. Hulk is always funny, and Jim Parsons (Sheldon from Big Bang Thoery) was a real hoot as Nightmare!

People are always projecting personal reasons for what are almost certainly business reasons....
CN has plenty of their own properties that they'd rather promote than someone else's properties. However, they are contractually obligated to run the show - so they do. Once a week, in the early morning. Meanwhile, they push the heck out of the stuff in which they have ownership, to build the brand for third-party merchandise.
If Secret Saturday toys had caught on, we'd have season three - but the stuff sat on the clearance aisles for months. CN goes with what makes them cash, like Ben Ten.

Eh, I know it's business related, but I just find it incredible cold how Season 1 was doing so well (I'm pretty sure Marvel and/or CN released PR saying how good the ratings were) SHS was everywhere and the second Disney buys Marvel they turn their back on it. I mean it was overkill. Nick still has IM and g4's getting that Marvel Anime and they're not abandoning it SOLELY because Disney owns Marvel now (though I hope I'm speaking too soon for Iron man)

Here's the deal. They're doing to SHS the same thing they've done to Batman: Brave and the Bold and Secret Saturdays - and neither of them were bought by Disney. Show me anything, any citation, where it indicates that Marvel purchasing Disney has anything to do with the CN practice.
Sure it sucks, but resentment of Disney has nothing to do with it. Correlation does not imply causation.

Is it sad that when I got a DVR last week one of the first things I set to program was this show? I don't even like it all that much, but it's the show I'm least like to see while it's on.
Anyway, this episode was fun, I liked Ben and Alicia, and Nightmare was entertaining. Thanos is kind of frustrating, I mean, the guy is super powerful, can go into people's minds, teleport them at will, and he hasn't just destroyed the Squaddies. Plot induced stupidity indeed.
