Well, I'm sure we all were expecting as much, but the adult swim website seems to confirm it. The only ASA shows with pags so far are YYH and CB. PC, 0083, and OS all have "coming soon" signs on their pages while tenchi's page has a "Saturday night at 1:30am" sign. My guess is that they arent even planning a page for tenchi because theyll replace him before they get around to it.

Tenchi, and Outlaw Star as well, will probably be the first series to go when ASA aquires the rights to new shows, because both are pretty old hat by CN standards, and they've been shown to death.

Tenchi is definitely filler material. First off, there is 61 episodes (if you count all three shows and the Mihoshi special). It's not like "Big O", which has twelve episodes, or "Outlaw Star", which has 24. Secondly, it was just shown on Toonami. I seriously doubt that they will get to "Tenchi in Tokyo". I bet that after "Tenchi Muyo" ends, we see the Mihoshi special, which has yet to air in the US, and Universe up to and including "Space and Time Adventures". After that, something new starts. Still, I bet the other reason that they showed "Tenchi Muyo" was so that they can get away with showing all other Tenchi-related material, like The 3rd OVA, "Tenchi Muyo: GXP", and "Dual" (I know that it isn't Tenchi, but it's from the same people) on AS instead of Toonami.
Well, duh Tenchi and OS will be the first to go. I hope they have something good to replace them.

Big O's 13 episodes would be better filler, but they should just run it uncut, as there is nothing they would need to edit out on Adult Swim.
My reasoning is that if Tenchi is in fact the first to go, they will only run the Tenchi Muyo! part of Tenchi, the 13 episode first part.

Actually its 66 episodes, but only if you count the Mihoshi special. And speaking of which, if they do run the Mihoshi Special on Adult Swim, I hope it isn't edited to the Toonami Standards like all the other Tenchi episodes. Since it hasn't aired on CN here in the U.S. maybe it won't be over edited like it was on the European version of Toonami. I have it on tape at home and I'm pretty confident that it could run 99% uncut (they'd still have to do something about that Pretty Sammy transformation scene).

I'm figuring they'll cut Pilot Candidate first, considering
1) Its the worst anime the channel has ever aired
2) Its only 12 episodes, compared to 60+ if they air the 3 Tenchi series
3) Unedited PC is still only a show for 10 year olds.
It may be the newer of the shows, but that doesn't mean it should get endless replays

I wouldn't mind seeing Guyver on Adult Swim. Sure, its a little violent and the animation is a little old, but this is Adult Swim. Adults won't turn down a series because of its old animation like alot of kids with Mobile Suit Gundam on Toonami.

Every time I hear about the Guyver, I remember the Mark Hamill live-action version. Ugh....bad memories.

Big O has 13 episodes and OLS has 26 episodes (OK, on Cartoon Network, OLS only has 25 b/c they cut out the Hot Springs Planet Tenrei episode).
