Well, the newspage says that in May we're getting JL toys from Subway. They won't be quite what we're looking for, as in actual action figures, but I think they'll be good to tide me over until actual figures exist.

Also, has anyone picked up the WW maquette from DC Direct? I have, and it looks awesome.

those maquettes look great. i only wish they'd make slightly cheaper versions of them so i could actually collect all of them.

I'm skipping GL and Hawkgirl, but when Flash and Batman come out they are definately on my list. Also, MM looks GREAT, so I can't wait to get that one as well.

are there any preview pics of the batman one? btw-if you've seen the smaller classic comic book batman sculpture avaliable at the suncoast pictures stores, it looks alot like the new justice leauge design also.

I bought the Wonder Woman maquette and it looks like I'll be buying all of them. I need something to tide me over until we get Justice League toys.

(I'll probably have to buy the Subway ones too.)

Can't wait to get the entire league - I'm a sucker for fast food promotions. Oh well! Justice League goodness for all!

I really hope they make toys of all the villains, not just some

I'm hoping that they make the Subway toys close enough to scale with BTAS/STAS toys that it will work. I remember the Robin Jack in the Box figure that recently came out was exactly in scale

i hope these things get on the mcdonald's beanie baby popularity level..it most likley wont happen, but if it did, this might very well be the biggest wake-up call to hasbro...(on the other hand though i kinda don't want that to happen so that i have at least a fighting chance of collecting all of them. ;) )

Howdy all,

Does John Stewart look kind of, um, RED to people? Or is it just a bad photo/bad scan? I want Hawkgirl, John Stewart, and J'onn J'onzz, but not if JS looks like Sinestro.

...um yah, he does look kinda discolored. As much as I don't want to complain, these toys really don't make up for the whole Hasbro rights fiasco. As it is, I end up critiquing a normal toy to death before buying it, so I can't say that these will "hold me over" until the real JL toys (if ever) come out. I think the longer they wait with this, the bigger the chances are that the line will flop. As it is, we won't see any toys until possibly the end of the second season. They could end up being ....well, not worth the wait, if you know what I mean...but if they release toys in conjunction with the show, everyone'll pick em up even if they aren't good.

These are cute. That don't mean I'm gonna go collecting them. Then again, I'm the guy who spent 100$ and endless hours running from McDonalds to McDonalds trying to pick out the Disney collectables he wanted out of the 100 that were being offered....

I prefer not to support child labor whenever possible.

Both Supes and Batman are transparent - basically to try and accent their respective logos.

Jared? :D

These toys remind me of the recent X-Men: Evolution toys that came out from Burger King a few months back. They weren't too spectacular, and sometimes the paint was off, but, I got a Magneto (yes, I know he's out, but Western PA has yet to see XE Series 3 figures) a Mystique, a Quicksilver, and a Rogue toy, and they all look good for what they are: fast food kids' meal toys.

I personally will be at Subway twice a week to pick up all 8 toys (I figure Hey, while I'm at it I might as well get the 3 & under toy, right? :) )

These toys look spectacular!! My only qualm is I'm almost certain that they're not even close to being in scale with BTAS STAS toys. The Jack in the Box ones were always close enough to use the heads for customizing. I made an animated Flash using the Jack in the Box toys. The Supergirl and Batgirl were also close enough see www.ironcowprod.com and how they used them. Anyways I'll be getting all of them anyway. They look really cool!
