"Dream" casting DareDevil

This is a real article in OPM (Official Playstation Magazine) in which they have taken games (Metal Gear, FFX) and did a "what if they were made into movies, who they feel should play the part.

Why don't we give it a try here?

And since the Daredevil movie is being debated. We'll start there.

If you were casting, whom would you cast for the Daredevil movie.

Kevin Smith as Screenwriter.

Why? Let's be serious. Go buy the new series from start to finish as he left the series. He knows the character, he'd be loyal.

Robert Rodriguez as director.

Why? He was a big fan of Daredevil! He has experience with digital filming! He directed Desperado alot of running, rooftops, gangsters! It was suggested by Smith that he direct, but he refused with his current busy schedule on Desperado 2 (Once Upon A Time In Mexico) and Spy Kids 2: Island of Lost Dreams.

Matt Damon as Matt Murdock.

Why? Blonde hair! Accent! Played a lawyer in "The Rainmaker"!Body type of a boxer! Also close friends with Daredevil revisionist Kevin Smith!

Michael Clarke Duncan as Kingpin.

I'm convinced he could actually pull it off. I did think of other guys in the past, but this character needs a thespian, not someone simply big.
