I liked how the shows' writers lampooned how Wolverine has teamed up with just about everyone in the Marvel universe at some point. He even mentions X-23 and Firestar, who have yet to make an appearance on SHS. Hulk mentions that he teamed with Wolverine first, referencing the fact that Wolverine's 1st ever appearance was in a Hulk comic.

It was also funny how Wolverine and HERBIE discussed how the latter ended up in Fantastic Four (referencing the Depatie-Freleng Saturday morning cartoon titled The New Fantastic Four, in which HERBIE was created as a replacement for the Human Torch, who couldn't be used at the time because the character was under contract for a feature film that never got made. It's since become a Hollywood myth that Torch was left out of the series out of fear that kids would set themselves on fire trying to imitate the character). HERBIE was later worked into the comics' continuity as a helper of the F4.

I found it interesting they were able to sneak in the design for Ironman from the Avengers show in there (that must be eating CN from the inside)

It was an interesting juxtoposition to have Falcon and Ironman figting over who should fly in front, having Stark cite "being the leader" as his right. But in this week's Avengers Ironman tried to have someone else be the decoy and Cap guilted him into going first cuz he was the leader. It's probably just a coincidence, but one I found amusing.

Yeah, I enjoyed that bit, too and how it cuts away to Johnny deciding to get a piercing at the end. I thought the little Titanic music during the Reed/Sue scene was funny, too.

It was nice to hear Firestar and X-23 mentioned, though it looks like they messed up the pictures on the team-up chart. The 2nd "Ms. Marvel" was probably a miscolored Firestar. On another note, it didn't seem to take Scarlet Witch too long to become really familiar with the rest of the team.

Ha! Jane Lynch as Nebula.

Ditto with Firestar on Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends. People thought they created her because of the same kids will set themselves on fire logic that prevents them from using the Human Torch. Poor Johnny.

There was something off about that chart, some of it was alphabetical, but why was X-23 on it? Ah well, it was still a funny gag.

Pretty good episode. Never really cared for Annihilus though. Wolverine's team-up checklist was probably my favorite part. Also liked the part with Reed Richards and Sue trying to avert a "catastrophic incident". :p

Finally got a chance to watch this one. LOVED the reference to Avengers: EMH. I definitely was not expected that reference, given the two shows being from seperate networks, but I'm SO glad they did. It was a very pleasant surprise. I wonder if we'll get a SHS nod in A:EMH eventually. Also got a big laugh out of H.E.R.B.I.E.'s reference to why he was created. That and the clip of just how great an influence Johnny Storm really is. Like pretty much everyone else, I also got a laugh out of the whole Wolverine team-up checklist. Who HASN'T teamed up with him by now? Dee Bradley Baker as Annihilus was also a lot of fun.
