As you all know Spidey is one of Marvel's top characters. In all of the years in Spider-Man animation, what were your favorite moments from any of the animated cartoons? This doesn't have to be specifically to the character of Spider-Man in general, just you favorite moments from any of his cartoons (like say, a Sinister Six fight, Kingpin doing something, or even some of banter from Spidey's amazing friends) Since things are slow from news with the ultimate show (for me atleast) lets reflect on our favorite moments in Spidey's animated history.

Most of mine will be from the 94 show onwards since that is pretty much the period I've grown up in...I've seen Amazing Friends, but didn't really watch it religiously like I did with Spec Spidey, or even casually like 94 Spidey. So with out futher ado my moments are:

Norman's unmasking in the TSSM episode "Final Curtain" was one of my favorites. Even though it was expected (as Gobby's actions didn't make all that much sense for Harry...even as a Globulin Green druggie), it was done exceedingly well. Even though I love the whole episode this scene stands out to me...special mention to the scene with Norman twisting Harry's leg to simply get out of jail time.

Another Goblin themed moment actually comes from Spider-Man '94. It's in the episode "Turning Point". Censored as it may be, they tried to adapt the Gwen Stacy story and did it pretty well...time dilation acceleration and Madame Web aside. Even though once again I enjoyed the whole episode, the scene where Norman is at the table just practically telling Peter he knew his secret in a discrete way is my topper for that episode.

Spidey's first encounter with the Big Man of Crime in Spectacular's episode "The Invisible Hand" was also one of my favorites. This scene lets Spidey know that his crime fighting is in a way upping the ante and he's learning that his existance is pretty much the exact reason why these supervillains are starting to show up (even though the big guns like Gobby and Ock would have happened eventually with or without Spidey). Oh, plus the way Tombstone owned Spidey and taught him "the facts of life".

I'll stop for now (as I wanted to get to a part of Shear Strength and a [something from Goblin War [didn't want to bulk up my post with Goblin stuff]). What are you favorite moments in Spidey's animated history, the can be epic, so bad that it's laughable, genuinely funny, or even something you thought was cool. Let's hear (read) it!

This is a wonderful Idea for a topic.
I don't have time today to think up my list, so I'll be back on later.
But I wanted to give you mad props for such a fun idea.

I would have to go with Peter's motorcycle trip and thinking moment on the dock in The Origin of Spider-Man from the 67 series. Just that dock shot with the motorcycle in the light and Peter with his foot up on the piling (and I think Peter was in shadow), just showed you how much was going through Peter's mind about his newfound abilities without having to say a word or do any animation.

Then another was the fight with Wolverine in the alleyway in The Mutant Agenda part 1.

And the introduction of the other Spider-Men in I Really Hate Clones. I remember my brother had (and he still has it) the toy of the Octo-Spider-Man, and I still think to this day that that was a great toy design, and I wish that Octo-Spider-Man had received more screen time, or maybe even had his own series, spun-off from the 94 series.

Considering he's had like 7 animated shows... there are lots of great moments. Or little things that stick with you.

So, I'll try not to list too many, and I'll have to probably revisit this thread as I remember more, and watch more (it's been a long time since I've seen the 60s and 80s Spider-Man shows).

From the 60s
Horn of the Rhino. When the US military shoots a torpedo at Rhino, and it misses, and keeps going toward the harbor. They never deal with it, or mention it again.
It's that sort of simplistic writing that gives those old shows such charm (Kinda like the 60s Superman Cartoons where he'd fly someone through space or throw them to another planet and they'd be fine).
I love that sort of silly stuff.

Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends
There's an episode where the Green Goblin attacks during a halloween party or something. And Peter Parker dresses as Spider-Man. So cheeky.

Spider-Man 90s
Certain Episodes, I just love ALL of from start to finish.
Night of the Lizard
The Alien Costume pts 1-3. SO GREAT!
Kraven The Hunter. I liked the more heroic portrayal of the character in this show.
The Hobgoblin pts 1 and 2. Mark Hamill!!! Need I say more!?

Also, I like how certain episodes seemed like perfect adaptations/homages to older stories and even earlier adaptations.
Like The Sting of the Scorpion ('94)/ Never Step on a Scorpion ('67) or The Menace of Mysterio ('94)/('67), for example.

I did honestly enjoy the 2 part season 2 premiere with "The Insidious Six".
And I enjoyed a lot of the Punisher/Blade/Morbius stuff when I was younger. I'll need to re-watch 'em again. I'll probably like the fact that Punisher is there. But not much else.

The Framed/Man Without Fear 2 part story was great. Daredevil rules!!
The Spider Wars-Chapter II: Farewell, Spider-Man rocked just for having Stan The Man Lee!!

Spider-Man Unlimited
With the exception of The High Evolutionary, I loved all aspects of this show.
I loved the nods to Spider-Man 2099.

I loved the 2-part intro. With the nod to the previous show (since with was going to be a spin-off) with theme music playing.
I loved "Enter the Hunter". The ending when Spider-Man threatens to end Counter-Earth Kraven, and humorously remarks about nearly breaking his own hand.
"Steel Cold Heart". The beginning. As he's fighting beast versions of Rhino and other villians. His lame joke about "charging rhinos" and credit cards. Still makes me chuckle.
I had hoped that Rhino would have appeared again.
I liked the more noble anti-hero approach they continued with Venom.
I LOVE Rino Romano as Spider-Man.

Spider-Man: The New Animated Series
"Royal Scam". MCD returns as Kingpin. I loved that. And the whole episode was fun. The scene with them ordering food. Just kinda cracks me up.
I liked the Silver Sable episode. Good action.
I liked Pterodax. The ex-KGB wannabe Vulture. James Marsters just makes me all kinds of happy. Love his performance. So snarky.

The Spectacular Spider-Man
Let me start by saying I love EVERYTHING about this show. But I'll try to keep it short.
I love all the villains.
This show reminded me why I love Rhino so much.
the Sinister Six episode "Reinforcement". Rhino's line just before sinking into the ice "I hate you... so much!" Priceless!
When Spidey and Rhino team up and then fight in "Accomplices".
I love the new spin they offered on Shocker, combining him with Montana was genius. All of their quips at each other when battling Spidey were priceless.
I loved the way they handled Green Goblin. Norman Osborn twisting and manipulating everyone like that was great. He breaks his own sons leg to frame him. WOW! Just amazing!

The 4 episode plot-arc with the Symbiote, and getting to Venom.
Not too fond of the Stomach mouth, but liked the combination of 616 and Ultimate Brock.
"Group Therapy". Black Suit Spidey and the Sinister Six. What's not to like?!

Also, I just loved the writing and presentation of this show. The sub-plots. The parallel stories. Like the opera playing during the fights in "Gangland" or the play acting as a commentary on the main plot during "Final Curtain".
And Hobie Brown constantly getting interrupted during the show, and then when he finally speaks in "Opening Night".

I'll try to come up with more specifics later.
But that's all I got for now.

I'm sorry if I went on too long.
But I'm a Spidey-fan!
I'll shut up now.
