The 2 Cartoons I've completed so far

Hey I'm pretty new to the forum here. I'm an aspiring 2d animator and I wanted to share what I've worked on so far. The first one about Lassie was my Senior thesis in school and the 2nd one about the seal I just did on my own time. I'm trying to develop my own style and sense of humor. I'm working on a 3rd piece right now that will hopefully trump both of these.

But for now any feedback on these would be greatly appreciated!

I liked both cartoons with (Lassie the first cartoon you did) the animation seemed a little better and the song was catchy too.

awesome pieces, man. i especially like your backgrounds... very beautiful. animation is really good too. nice acting and overshoots. i kinda died when the dogs started singing in ur first one hahaha.... i like the story in the second one. hits u in the face. ALSO.... major props to doing lip-syncing in the first one. i know that's not easy to do. so to do a music-video with it must have been pretty time consuming. have you done the 11-second club?

the first one is traditionally done: did my roughs, flipped through the drawings, cleaned them up and did some crash compositing... the second one was done in flash.

where did you go for school? how long is your program?

anyway, great job dude!:)
