Saturday, November 20th 2010 at 6:30am (ET) - "Whom Continuity Would Destroy!”
Thanos wants the Mind Stone and he's going to get it by pitting the Squaddies against a team of rough-and-tough baddies from a different universe - The Squadron Supreme! Led by Nighthawk, the team of Power Princess and Hyperion have a few things to say to our Squaddies...and they're saying it with their fists! Plus, The Grandmaster makes his stunning debut!

I liked how they had Adam West voicing Nighthawk.

In the past, I've thought that an animated Avengers/Squadron Supreme crossover (which would be the closest thing to an Avengers/JLA match up we'd get) would be pretty cool but it's kind of funny that I didn't even realize that's what we were getting with this episode until I realized how much they were playing up the Batman jokes with Nighthawk (voiced by Adam West). It was kind of a fun episode in the Contest of Champions mold. Falcon waiting for Wanda was kind of funny.

Nice to see the Squabdron Supreme in animated form. I feel kind of silly that it took me so long to realize the Adam West/Nighthawk connection. (To be fair he is in a lot of shows now-adays.)
Power Princess' invisible arsenal was pretty funny.:D

And Susan (Wonder Woman) Eisenberg as Power Princess.....

I'm surprised they didn't cast one of the various actors who have played Superman through the years for the voice of Hyperion.

Has the second season started? I've been waiting for it for a while but haven't been able to really catch much news about it. It'd be great if I could get an airing schedule so I can start watching it again and catch up. :)

It started in late October and it's been airing on Saturdays at 6:30 am EST on CN. There have been about seven episodes so far.

Ditto. They did more in general with Nighthawk (although, oddly enough, the Nighthawk/Iron Man fight was the only one without a shown ending).

I thought this episode was a lot of fun. I'm wondering if they're actually going to have Thanos get all the Infinity Gems, he's doing a lot better than Doom with the Fractals.

I guess Reptil's going to have to turn 18 before he can be a full-fledged Squaddie.
