I was just watching the Gary Coleman Show episode, "Calamity Canine" and noticed an error! At one point the halo over Gary's head disappears for several frames. It's very noticeable (and very funny). Any other errors in GCS episodes?

As for the episode "Calamity Canine" itself, it is not the best GCS episode, but it has its moments. Plots involving kids washing a dog always makes for a good cartoon. Another example: the classic "Bath to the Future" episode of Goober and the Ghostchasers.

Well, truth be told, a lot of the episodes between 3 and 10 are riddled with errors. These episodes were considered lesser projects by the animators and directors. They cranked them out fairly quickly while devoting more time to episodes 11, 12, and 13. In fact those three episides appear out of production order because more time was spent on them.

This can all be found in a an interview with Ray Patterson published in the late 80s, BTW.

Disappearing halos are quite common in these rushed episodes.
