What are currently your 3 favorite Disney (it doesn't matter if they're all Disney ones and include any Pixar ones) animated films and please separately say why (as in for the animation, story - script, direction, voice acting, etc.), for each fave film named.
The Nightmare Before Christmas.....I really love the songs(this is the kind of movie I'll put on in the background while I'm doing something else, and just sing along with the songs),and the characters are all really enjoyable (Jack,Sally, and Zero are my favorites, but I also like the Mayor and Oogie Boogie)...the use of stop-motion animation is amazing here (and I'm not a big fan of the medium, since it usually looks really choppy/unnatural)...Here,it's fluid, making the characters that much more "real"...I also really love the ending, with Jack and Sally singing together, and then kissing...really sweet...
Beauty and the Beast...This is one of my most watched movies....I really love the songs (even "Human Again",which wasn't in the film originally),and I consider the Beast one of Disney's best characters (it's interesting to see how he goes from being spoiled and selfish,to a gentle, caring individual through Belle's influence)...My favorite scene in the movie is when the Beast lets Belle go,knowing that she's his (and his servants) only chance to be human again...Cogsworth asks him how he could do such a thing, and his response is that he had to, "because,I love her"...(Aww)...
Up...I really loved the message of this film...It's not how you spend your life,it's who you spend it with...Carl and Ellie may never have gotten to raise a family or go to Paradise Falls together, but they were deeply in love and had a great life(I love the moment when Carl reads Ellie's final message, and what happens to their house in the end)...
I also enjoyed Dug the dog, whose caller translated his thoughts/barks...My favorite line of his was "I was hiding under your porch because I love you" :D...that is something I can easily imagine a dog saying if it could talk....

Toy Story 3: So many things were done right in this film, its hard not to like it. The animation is done well, the scenes are executed perfectly. I still stop my shopping at Wal-Mart if they're playing this on their televisions.
Beauty and the Beast: A nice, sweet romance tale that I couldn't help but love. The songs are great, and Gaston stands out as one of my favorite Disney villains.
Aladdin: My favorite Disney movie, I watched it so many times as a kid I had it memorized. Really, I'm not entirely sure why I like it, though Robin Williams is probably a factor.
