I was looking forward to the season premiere for quite some time, but unfortunately, my satellite is... inoperable at the moment due to some slight financial difficulties. I should have it back any day now, but I doubt that my service will be reinstated in time to watch the premiere tomorrow morning. I suppose there are always reruns. I still like Kid vs. Kat, although once judyindisguise was no longer with us, the talkback threads became far less lively. It was amusing, none-the-less. I initially hated the series and she initially loved it, and our opinions of the series went in opposite directions. Regardless, I constantly preached about balance during the first season and I am hoping that balance is maintained in the second season. If anything, Kat needs to get a few more victories.
The episode "Something About Fiona" and "Tickled Pink" premiere this morning at 10:00 AM on Disney XD, with a repeat twelve hours later. Hopefully I'll be able to catch the repeat.

Glad to have my satellite back. “Something About Fiona” was a great episode; Fiona may have been a bit too perfect to be an interesting character, but it was nice to see another character actually learning the truth about Kat. I thought that the plot with Burt trying to get a date was interesting in its own right, as single parents in children’s animation seldom comment on their relationship status – or lack thereof. I still wonder who his wife was and what happened to her, but those questions are practically never answered.
I liked “Tickled Pink” because it showed more about Kat’s species. It would seem that they’re very similar to the Irkens from Invader ZIM in that they send a scout to planets in advance of them conquering them. I’m curious how often the supreme commander guy will be involved in the plots this season, but regardless of that, it was nice to see Coop and Kat work together again.

That’s twice now that the supreme commander of Kat’s species was involved in a plot, and again, he is displeased with Kat’s lack of progress. I wonder if that’s building up to something.

I didn't like the time traveling special that just aired. They've shown that Kat is not the commanding officer time and time again, but they decided to depict him as the leader in the alternate future. Little inconsistencies like that bother me. I also think they should have gone further in the future than they did, as one of the fun things about time travel episodes is seeing the characters when they're older. I did get a chuckle out of Dennis and Phoebe getting together, however.

I may not have seen the entire time-travel episode this evening but I tire of the kid of the main series' title of being the doormat. I know that he and Kat are supposed to share their share of punishment but I hope that Coop can come out as the hero by series' end. I doubt this 'Tom & Jerry' madness can last for another season.

Well, I’ve been watching this series less and less since the premiere of season two, but I think I’m finally done with it. The season finale that aired today could have been epic, and it was for most of the episode; we got to see a whole lot more of Kat’s planet, and because his girlfriend learned how to speak, she managed to provide some long overdue exposition. However, the ending is what ruined it for me. They took the most cliché root out of the episode by having Kat use a memory erasing beam to cause all of Coop’s friends to forget what had happened, including Fiona, who had known about Kat for most of the season. I think they could have very well continued into season three – if there is a season three – without wiping everybody’s memories. The adults still wouldn’t believe that the children are telling the truth, and Millie still loved Mr. Kat even knowing that he was an alien. In their refusal to take a risk and change the status quo, they destroyed any hope that I had for this series.
Worse, if it is the final episode, then it basically made the entire series moot because it reverted everything back to square one. I believe they even said the dreaded words “here we go again”. I suppose judyindisguise was right all along.

What puzzles me is why Kat didn't blank out Coop and Dennis' memories as well.
