as alot of you probably already read, mark hamill will do the voice over work as the joker in birds of prey during the crippling of barbara gordon flashback scene...i don't know about you but my interest level meter just went off the needle for this series. :D ...
so i wonder how this is going to work...will he just be the voice of an off screen joker, or will he actually dub over the voice of an on screen actor? i'm guessing we'll just hear his voice. who knows. things sound like they're starting to get interesting though. ;)

Geesh, I must have been in a hole somewhere when this news tidbit came out. What sites it it mentioned on? I don't think I saw it on the BOP website, but I could be mistaken. Anyhoo, that would be beyond cool. Who better to do the voice then who can really be considered the Joker himself? He's practically the essence of Mr.J. Do you think they would do the gun down scene with Barbara getting shot, or Batgirl?

Is this a live-action TV show, a live-action movie, or a new cartoon? I've never even heard of "Birds of Prey" being anything but a comic book up to this point.

It's a new proposed WB live-action television series. For more details, check out the excellent Gotham Clock Tower (http://www.gothamclocktower.com/) website. Everything you need to know about the proposed new series is right there.

I tell ya, Hamill does a better Joker than a Luke Skywalker!

-_-..just ignore the stupid dork here, oi! When I made my post, I hadn't even thought about the fact that I had not checked the BOP website today, lol. And I hadn't checked the news board here either till just now, and I was like...augh...I'm stupid. Eh, it was a holiday today, which makes me more absentminded then normal. But like I said before....now I really want the BOP series to make it, I'd love to hear Hamill's voice in that moment.

That's awesome! I haven't really had much interest in the BoP series, but I'll definitely have to check it out if only for that one Hamill voice-work moment.

This sounds cool. Toss in a Kevin Conroy/Batman cameo over a speaker or something and I'm hooked!!!

I don't know about you, but hearing the Mark Hamil Joker in live action is going to be really creepy. Which I believe it is supposed to be.

i always check the news page first before going to the message board; i assumed everyone else did the same. sometimes there are messages based on the news and if people hadn't read it, they don't know what is going on.

I've was pretty interested in the series since it was announced that Harley would be in it. And I was even MORE interested when I heard she would be played by Sherilynn Fenn. I love her.
And now we have a Mark Hamill cameo! I think there might be an actor playing Joker, but there wouldn't be any face shots, or maybe even any shots from like the waist up. He'll be faceless. Like a hand model in a dish detergent commercial.
