Just for fun, I was wondering if anybody was interested in starting a Mecha-themed Story game.
If you're unfamiliar with Story games, here's the gist of it:
One user (typically the person who begins the thread), begins a story with a paragraph setting up the scene and whats going on. The players (evreyone else) adds to the story by introducing characters and what they're doing. Per the forum rules, there is a 1 Paragraph minimum.
It then goes on from there, with each user adding to the tale, having their characters react to what happens in the others replies.
Instead of having stats, the game is more plot based, just trying to tell a fun story.
Well, that's the basics of it (as I understand it). Anyone speak up if I'm missing something.
Back to the beginning, Mecha Wars is was it says on the label. You play a pilot of a giant robot (or the mecha itself, or a side character or whatever) in the middle of a war. The Mecha can be anything from Super Robot (Gurren laggan) to real robot (Gundam, Battletech).
If anyone is interested, post:
Character's Name:
Gender:
Age:
Brief Bio: (short a short paragraph)
Agenda (what the character's main goal is):
Vehicle: (Mecha, tank, support craft, etc.)
Size: (How big the vehicle is. It could range from man-size to building sized).
Abilities: (To make it fun, don't make your characters or mecha overpowered. Mary sues make for poor characters).
Armament: (What they use to fight).
