RECAP FROM ROUND 2: The SWAT Kats thought they could claw their way to victory through two mispaired dogs, but they thought wrong. TUFF Puppy (along with Courage the Cowardly Dog) showed the SWAT Kats on who the best action pets were. So now we find our combatants talking over things in the Round 2 aftermath.
Razor: Wow, who knew that TUFF Puppy character was full of power?
T-Bone: ...and we thought we were the number one tag-team. I mean really, TUFF Puppy's too new of a character and his tag-team partner, Courage, is a cowardly dog. There's no way that a coward and a new action dog in town could defeat us.
Razor: It would of been a better idea for us to clash against the Road Rovers instead, they're more legendary than that "TUFF Puppy" character and the cowardly dog.
TUFF Puppy: Serves you right, SWAT Kats. Your days of crimefighting are pretty much over, or at least when 1995 came around. It's time for a new animal action star to rise, and it's gonna be me.
Announcer: Okay, TUFF Puppy, you and Courage won the MCA Round 2 Trophy. Refrain from boasting and collect your Tag-Team Trophy and a lifetime supply of doggie toys, treats, and bones!
Courage: Yay!
TUFF Puppy: Oh boy! MCA Tag-Team Trophy and lifetime supplies of doggie goods, come to us!
Courage: Yeah, and I thought we were going to end up as losers.
