Will there be an additional scenes for the AS broadcast?

Looks like they're actually cutting things out. The long opening featuring the Griffins driving to the mansion was cut. They'll probably be some other scenes cut too; the FOX version lasted about 49 minutes, which is about 5-6 minutes longer than 2 regular episodes of the show combined.

i gotta say this feels like there gonna kill off characters they dont like or just cant think of anymore material for them all in all im enjoying this one hour murder mystery quite alot although i do love mm's alot :D

They edited out the Jewish chair gag when they're carrying Joe up the stairs. :(

Unfortunately, I deleted the Fox broadcast from my DVR after I watched it. But I will try my best to make a list of scenes Adult Swim cut out.

1. The introduction with the Griffins driving to James Woods's mansion
2. Consuela calling everyone "Mr."
3. Carl asking Meg (?) if she has ever seen Jim Henson's Labyrinth
4. Seamus saying that his story of how James Woods making him what he is today was a joke and the real story was they dropped acid and James Woods tried to cook him because he thought he was a steak
5. When the group has to go up the stairs and they carry Joe up and Peter does that Jewish chair song thing

those are the key ones I remember. for all i know there could be some mundane things AS cut out but I'm drawing a blank. Perhaps someone who still has the Fox broadcast on their DVR or whatever could help me.

also, i can understand adult swim not adding scenes considering the fox version was pretty long already. however, i would have thought there would some dialogue changes or something of that nature. with all the edits adult swim made, i felt like i was watching a syndication broadcast. the edits didn't disrupt the story but i was still disappointed that adult swim actually took things out. have they ever done this to family guy before?

Yes, they did it to the Brian/Stewie episode from last season. If you remember, the episode originally ran long on FOX. When AS aired it, they made time cuts. The ironic thing is that it seems the special episodes get edited for time on AS while the regular episodes sometimes get additional scenes/dialogues for the AS broadcast.

-Before heading downstairs to a basement or something, Herbert asks Chris to burn down his house should anything happen to him.
-A scene with Stewie and Brian talking before leaving the mansion in the morning.

The one joke I remember being edited on Adult Swim was, I don't recall them keeping in what James Woods did to Consuela's nephew.

Oh yeah I forgot about that. That was pretty... dark to say the least. In fact it seemed a little too dark for a Fox airing. It's almost like the AS version aired on Fox and vice versa.
