Hello,

One thing I've been thinking recently: I'd love to be able to read the classic (1990-1996 or thereabouts) Disney Adventures comics based on the TDA shows. I know someone scanned and uploaded the Chaos God storyline, but I'd love to see the other stories. Like the Bonkers comics which had Bonkers and Lucky facing off against villains from the Miranda Wright episodes, or the Goof Troop comics which had Roxanne and the Goofy Movie versions of the characters. Or the Darkwing Duck multi-part comic which involved some villain(s) trying to unmask D.W. (with some very WB-esque bits - "That was actually my AUXILIARY auxiliary mask!" or something like that)

Those comics were part of my childhood, I'd love it if someone could try to obtain and scan them. (Does anybody have any issues? I know J.B. Warner does, and he's scanned some pages...)

You should check out J.B. Warner's DA Archive (http://www.toonzone.net/forums/showthread.php?t=263423) in the Platypus Comix forum. There's several Disney Afternoon comics in there.

Yes, but it doesn't look like he put up ALL of the pages. There needs to be a project to scan all those comics in full...

The Darkwing comics in Disney Adventures that were written by Doug Gray were particularly good.

Boom! is planning on releasing this:

Doug Gray is listed as one of the writers, so looks like at least one of his stories will be available!

(And no Janet Gilbert...indicating that, hopefully, there will be nothing from Marvel's Disney Afternoon comic...)

My sister used to collect them, then she threw them away.

Pity, I liked a lot of them, especially the Aladdin ones.

BTW, was there more than one A Goofy Movie story? The only one to my knowledge was Max trying to look dashing and fearless for Roxanne, ending with Roxanne being the hero.

I agree. Actually, I'm a huge gizmoduck fan. Does anyone know which issues of Disney adventures gizmo appeared in? He was in a few darkwing and ducktales comics. Any ideas?

On this note, I have to ventilate about something. I recently visited the Gargoyles Wiki site, Gargwiki. And when i went to Elisa's page, i eventually got to the part describing the events that took place in the canon Spin-off comic book series, regarding her relationship with Goliath. I'm not sure exactly how it effected me but i know that i felt it was sad that she and Goliath broke off from each other like that and didn't come to terms with each other for more than 4 days in their continuity. This sort of left me feeling a little disoriented for some reason (mainly because i was currently on a Gargoyles episode watching kick). I know it was said that the Goliath Chronicles wasn't canon, but when i saw them, they gave me more closure. In that season Elisa and Goliath's relationship seemed so simple, after Hunter's Moon they agreed they liked each other and that was that. But in the story thatis considered canon, everything seemed aso tragic in that department.
