New Family Guy airing in squished widescreen?

Now I could be wrong here but going by the recent promo for it, it looks like at least the Family Season premier might be airing in well, squished widescreen. Either that or the promo guys just did it with footage like that. Anyone else see said promo or have any idea? I saw it around 10:40 tonight during a Family Guy commercial break.

Family Guy has finally enter the 21st Century and is now in HD along with the rest of the Fox Sunday line up.

This may explain the squished widescreen.

It's probably just for the promo. The actual airing might be fixed to fit in the screen properly.

American Dad aired in proper HD on Adult Swim when that show made the transition, so I'm sure Family Guy will be aired correctly as well.
